It's been 2 years since I gave birth to my son. I had 4 different tears in that area, and they healed very well over time. The problem is that I still find it uncomfortable when I am inimate with my husband (not really painful, just sore). I also find that I don't become "naturally lubricated" anymore since my son was born. I never had that problem before. Has anyone ever experienced this?

No, I'm not on birth control. We are currently trying for the second baby.

I tore, but fortunately mine healed well. After two years, I'd think yours should have, too. Have you asked your OB about this?
As for the lubrication thing, I'm totally with you on that one. It used to take NOTHING for my husband to get me turned on (even when I wasn't in the mood). Now, the only time I actually get lubricated is when I'm ovulating. Even if I'm turned on, we still have to use KY. It's a drag. :(

Yes, I do sometimes have the same feelings. I have a harder time with natural lubrication, but not all the time. I don't really feel sore anymore during sex, but I did (the tear was 6 years ago). Also, just so you know...I did not tear at all with my second child! You didn't ask, but thought I'd throw it in there.

To be sincere, how tight your vagina is, is inappropriate. There's ladies who've bought pregnant after their first time having intercourse. Your vagina is MADE to be in a position to stretch. There are oils you'll be able to get which you'll be able to rubdown there to make the dermis extra stretchy. I paintings on a labour and maternity ward helping midwives and I'll inform you now, LISTEN TO YOUR MIDWIFE. It will support you such a lot. Your midwife can see whilst you ought to quit pushing to hinder tearing therefore why they just do 10 moment countdowns - in any other case they would simply help you convey on till you run out of steam. The ladies who forget about what their midwife says and do exactly what they desire are those I see depart with mostly as much as forty stitches! Good success! xxx

Are you on birth control? My body is like that since I have had both kids. I think it is the birth control for me because when I was off of it trying to get pregnant with my daughter, I had none of the problems that I have while on it. As for the pain, ask you dr, but I think it is normal to be sore for a while. It takes your body a long time to get over it.

Have you since had an xray in the rea? You'd be surprised at the statistics of how many patients have instruments or gauze inside you. Bring this up as a possibility to a dr and be shecked for it.

Talk to your doctor. It might be helpful for you to get an estrogen cream to use if you are still having discomfort 2 years later.

no worries. sometimes it will take awhile to get back into the swing of things (no pun intended). there are alot of little "helpers" you can use for that sort of thing. or just spice it up. :)
