No it is not harm full to the father. It is normal to want to taste is because a male is curious about the taste. Sometimes the father just wants to share with the child so he can still feel important to you.

If breast milk is not harmful to a baby, then why would it be harmful to a grown man?

It's safe for your husband to taste your breast milk....

But make sure you don't feed your baby right after your husband has been there.....your baby may pick up germs from your husband's saliva. It may, or may not be harmful to the baby, but no sense risking it.

My significant other related to me that when his wife was pregnant, he thought there was nothing sexier than her breasts being readied for the child. The initial 'milk' is not milk actually, but a substance that contains much of the antibodies that your child will need to protect his/her immune system. When the milk does start to flow, he can share what the milk tastes like to satisfy his curiosity. After the first taste, he probably will not want anymore. (smile) And it is not harmful. Be sure that you wash your breasts and nipples (hard) to help prepare for the 'bite-down' you will receive when your baby starts to nurse. Also, pay attention to any breakage in the nipple and bleeding. I was forced to discontinue because my daughter bit so hard, the nipple bled.

I breastfeed, my son is 5 months old and once I started breastfeeding my breast were off limits to my husband. It sounds crazy but, thats just the way I feel. I dont even feel comfortable letting him touch them because they are my baby's bottles. Everyone is different! However Im sure it's ok that he still sucks them if your comfoatable with him doing it and I dont think its harmful for your husband to taste your breastmilk if the best thing for your baby.

It's not harmful. It taste diffrent from regular milk. My friends hubby use to do it a lot when she was breat feeding it actually relieves some of the weight that the milk adds to you boobs when the baby isn't hungry so let him drink away if he's into that. Also breat feeding helps you lose the baby weight!

It wont harm him but you can only produce so much milk at a time! That milk is for your child and is the best thing for them.
You cant breastfeed both at the same time or your breasts will dry up sooner than they should.
Tell your old man to go get a dairy cow and leave your milk for the kid!

I dont think so but it may not taste too good. As far as having enough for the baby, your body is constantly making milk as long as it is being used. Just think of it as breastfeeding twins. haha

Yeah it won't hurt and my ex said it tasted sweet.
But, you might be touched out by breastfeeding or your husband might start thinking of your breasts as the baby's property (but that won't be for forever)

Most men think it's gross. It's not bad for anyone for them to drink your milk. If it's good enough for your baby, it's good enough for your husband. The more he stimulates your breasts, the more milk you'll make for your baby. Just make sure he doesn't drink it all.
