I mean, so what that there was a "plant" there to ask a question. Hillary wanted to make sure someone asked her about global warming.

The "problem" with this is what?

Why don't they do all of the people who voted for them and all of the people who want change in our country a favor and stop letting Bush do whatever the heck he wants! Why don't they push more bills at Bush for change?

We mostly hear about generalities, and I am wondering if Ron Paul supporters can actually explain the details.

For those that support Paul, explaining in great detail might actually help the cause since his views are so misunderstood.

Bush vetoed yet another bill that would have assisted in the health and education department because he says it will cost too much money. The thing is, it is a very small amout of money compared to what he has lost in this iraq war of his.

"Since winning re-election, Bush has sought to cut the labor, health and education measure below the prior year level. But lawmakers have rejected the cuts. The budget that Bush presented in February sought almost $4 billion in cuts to this year's bill.

Democrats responded by adding $10 billion to Bush's request for the 2008 bill. Democrats say spending increases for domestic programs are small compared with Bush's pending war request totaling almost $200 billion."

This is just an experiment on my part to see what sort of answers I get. The more reasoning behind the answer, the better.

Now, here are some of my views. I think:

- the rich should pay more taxes than the poor.
- it's none of my business who sleeps with or marries whom, as long as they're all consenting adults.
- the government should provide basic health care to those who need it, and insurance should not cover frivolous plastic surgery.
- religion should not be part of politics.
- politicians should not use dishonest campaigning tactics.
- abortion should be a legal option, but only in the first trimester or in case of severe risk to the mother.
- adoption/foster care should be available to anyone who can prove they can care for a child, and hold no criminal record beyond traffic violations.
- war should only be a last resort.
- strong foreign policy is a good thing.
- Legal immigrants & refugees = ok, illegals = seek legal visa or deport.
- citizens don't need machine guns.

When a building is brought down by a team of demolitionist, you see puffs of smoke, and hear bangs from charges going off before the building implodes. They are also so precise that they bring buildings straight down. WTC had no puffs of smoke, or bangs, and fell sideways. Anyone in the business will tell you this. So is Rosie just nuts?

For example, cons believe that supply side economics works better then Keynesian economics. They believe this as gospel truth, as it if were written in stone. They think the mere explanation of how it is suppose to work is proof enough.

That is not proof. It is faith / rhetoric without facts.

THESE ARE FACTS

I got the real GDP stats from the Bureau of Economic Analyses. I took the percent increase over 4 year intervals. I then ranked them from best to worst. Out of (((18))) 4 year intervals, the supply siders Reagan and Bush Jr ranked 8th, 12th, and 16th.

"A new study of the mental health of U.S. troops who've been in Iraq shows a substantial rate of post-traumatic stress disorder and other psychiatric illnesses. The high rates of mental illness occurred despite intensive efforts by U.S. officials to prevent them. NPR's Joseph Shapiro reports."

What's more important, trying to stabilize a group of people who are resistant or the affects of the war that are placed on the troops.
