I think the fear of having Mr. Cheney as President, is enough to scare those of us who don't have faith in Mr. Bush.

Like what???? Give me a Break. TREASON... Violating the Constitution. Human rights. To name a few. To prove the case of impeachment would take about 2 days.

But the Dem's are scared that it would be drawn out over months like Clinton. Remember he was impeached over a BJ? That took months because it was not really important and he has a 70% approval rating..

They are scared of the politics of it. The Dem's are still playing by the rules the Republicans made up since Regan. However, history shows that if a President is impeached the party that did it wins the next election.

Its hard to impeach a president that has about a 20% aapproval rating... Give me a break. Clinton was around 70%

Its a completely different political environment today than say, when Nixon was impeached. At that time, the Constitution was above all, not the President. At that time Nixon was given an ultimatum by fellow Republicans...quit or be impeached. At that time, the media did its job!

I think an impeachment requires breaking the law. And actually having proof that he has broken the law.

Seriously, he hasn't lied to a grand jury. He hasn't cheated on his wife (with approval of the wife). and he hasn't broken any laws.

because no impeachable behaviors exist and nothing and i mean noooooooooottttttttttttthing would approach the benchmark clinton set for office behavior.
