Honestly, i don't see the unity and insight , that's necessary for such action?!

It seems like that might be one theme of the new Robert Redford/Meryl Streep/Tom Cruise movie, "Lions for Lambs." Many of us who protested the Vietnam war are wondering why the succeeding generations have not taken to the streets to protest the Iraq war, the destruction of parts of our Constitution, the mendacity of this administration and the looting of our treasury.

When people become personally affected by their policies....until then it is business as usual b/c even though we know somebody is suffering from poor policies (Katrina victims, protestors put in 'protest zones' miles from earshot of the president; job insecurity; healthcare, etc), until it is us we all just seem to find that we are 'too busy' with our own lives to do something to help the lives of our neighbors!!
