I assume you mean the IPS (Institute for Policy Studies) because your question is not accurate. The IPS was about as much a nest of revolutionary commies as the YAF (Young Americans for Freedom). For example, Karl Hess (Goldwater's former chief speechwriter and Libertarian anarchist) was an IPS Fellow during the same time.
