I mean, so what that there was a "plant" there to ask a question. Hillary wanted to make sure someone asked her about global warming.

The "problem" with this is what?

The uproar is about a "planted" question at a town hall meeting. I've heard two implications: first that she was dodging legitimate questions or second, that the question was a "softball." Neither was the situation, since "what is your plan" is a legitimate and difficult question. However, she prefaced her answer with, "Young people often asks me about global warming." That was disingenuous since the question was not legitimately from the college-aged person asking it. There is debate also about whether she knew a question would be planted. I've heard one report that she didn't write the question, and she didn't know who would ask it, so it was chance that she called on the plant. My guess is she called on young people until she got the questions she wanted.

I think a lot of the "outrage" from the "moral right" is either blindly partisan or a put-on, since President Bush routinely screened the attendees at his "town hall" meetings. The only people I know who were denied entrance to an event here in West Texas were all three registered Democrats. It could be a coincidence, but all the Republicans I know who sought to attend got tickets.

The problem is that

a) She denied having anything to do with it which is standard Clinton proceedure.
b) Blamed it on subordinates, again feigning ignorance of the practice she has indulged in many times, also Clinton SOP.
c) Given a) and b) she lied. Must I say it? Clinton SOP.

If she'd come out and said what you suggest, I would have chuckled a bit, but it wouldn't have nearly the air time this does now. It struck a core with the media and the American people where their impression and memory of the 'Clinton years' comes back to haunt them.

The student wanted to ask a completely different question but was not allowed because "Hillary doesn't know anything about that" so she asked what she was ordered to ask.

What is wrong with plants is it is dishonest. It is designed to fool the people. It is the essence of Hillery!

This is a time honored tradition. Bush hand picked his audiences so as to be sure of the questions. Today on the Laura Ingram show, a right wing show, her guest said he had worked on 4 presidental campaigns for the republicans and he knows it is always done, he has done it, the democrats do it, and all this noise is just the press looking for some way to sell news.

Dude, why didn't your parents teach you to discern right from wrong? What she did was deceive her audience. It's pretty obvious. It's a time honored tradition and everyone does it?
That's disturbing, isn't it? Demand better in your Representatives. Nothing is going to change until you do.

I am not a Hilary fan. From past experience, I would think everything she has done has been wrong because they are for the wrong reasons.

EDIT: I agree with the majority. Lies are lies and coverups are coverups.

You feel the only questions she should be asked are the ones she has rehearsed?
What part of her lying don't you understand. The woman, and I hate to call her that, IS an evil, scornful, B*tch!

Obama is attempting to cajole the great delegates to vote for him too. i do not think contained in the idea of great delegates, yet regrettably, it extremely is the way the celebration has set issues up. both applicants favor to target to pursuade them to vote their way. they'd be negative politicians in the journey that they did not attempt to.
