This is just an experiment on my part to see what sort of answers I get. The more reasoning behind the answer, the better.

Now, here are some of my views. I think:

- the rich should pay more taxes than the poor.
- it's none of my business who sleeps with or marries whom, as long as they're all consenting adults.
- the government should provide basic health care to those who need it, and insurance should not cover frivolous plastic surgery.
- religion should not be part of politics.
- politicians should not use dishonest campaigning tactics.
- abortion should be a legal option, but only in the first trimester or in case of severe risk to the mother.
- adoption/foster care should be available to anyone who can prove they can care for a child, and hold no criminal record beyond traffic violations.
- war should only be a last resort.
- strong foreign policy is a good thing.
- Legal immigrants & refugees = ok, illegals = seek legal visa or deport.
- citizens don't need machine guns.

you do not have a precise label. Political events are unfavourable in that they have got a tendency to rigidity human beings into categories they don't completely belong to. notice George Washington gave a good warning approximately them in his farewell address- what he warned against has come to bypass. My perspectives are precisely like yours above; whilst i'm asked if i'm liberal or notwithstanding, I in basic terms respond to particular subjects. working example i will say "i don't settle for any label, yet once you want to talk of the dying penalty, i'm conservative (even nonetheless i might want to work out the approach sped up)."

domestically liberal on some issues (gay marriage and tax hikes for the rich), libertarian in issues that leave govt out of people's lives. There are worse things to be, not too bad.

I agree with almost every one of your points. I would consider you, like myself, a liberal. And no, that's not a dirty word. Liberals tend to be more open-minded and compassionate toward others, even if they don't have the same political philosophies.
