I'm always hearing "they hate us for our freedoms", and "what rights have you personally lost?"

Please explain how one is worth going to war over, and the other one is "no big deal"?

Considering the elections are still a long way off ...What would happen if big businesses started backing her national health care plan? Business lobbyists are some of the most powerful lobbyists in Washington and Republicans are usually known to support big businesses. As a business owner or company, why wouldn't this be appealing? It means more money in their pocket, more profits for the company could mean better pensions plans for retired employee's ( just one example).
We all know that health care costs are enormous (look at what's happening to GM right now). Why wouldn't businesses/companies back her plan? Wouldn't it be in their own best interest to do so...passing the buck (literally) to the federal govt is a win/win situation for them. By doing so they would save HUGE amounts of money and even if they have to pay some sort of higher tax , that still would be significantly lower than paying for the individual health care costs of their employee's (and retired employee's).

What I mean is this . . . . Haven't you ever even questioned why it's only your party who is guilty of this ?

And have ya ever asked yourself. . . . . Why for centuries was it OK to include God in our country , schools , and government , but suddenly in the last decade or two , it's not apparently ?

Have ya ever asked yourself. . . . Why have almost all the mass school shootings happened in the last decade or two ?

Have ya even ever stopped to ask yourself this ?

If ya have , then what the heck happened ?

NOTE -- I've asked questions that really baffle me about you . I would greatly appreciate straight-forward respectful answers .
Thank you and God Bless .

Seriously, did anyone catch the interview on Larry King with Vincente Fox and a plan that he hatched with George Bush to introduce a regional currency for North America?

If not, I’ve provided the link.

what do you think about pelosi's "we are up here and you are down there" comments? are you getting what you voted for? plain as day, she said the democrat base is "wasting it's time" trying to get what they want from the almighty democrats.

"We have to make responsible decisions in the Congress that are not driven by the dissatisfaction of anybody who wants the war to end tomorrow," Pelosi told the gathering at the Sofitel, arranged by the Christian Science Monitor. Though crediting activists for their "passion," Pelosi called it "a waste of time" for them to target Democrats. "They are advocates," she said. "We are leaders."

An American theocracy is incompatible with democracy. Yet right after chastising Democrats for not loving freedom enough, they'll turn around and try to legislate biblical beliefs.

Surely others have seen the incongruity here.

Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords, is no basis for a system of government! Supreme Executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony!

They haven't repealed the Bush tax cuts for the rich.

They did try to go after Rush Limbaugh, but they failed. They tried going after General Petraeus, who they voted for, before he even said a word.

Have the democrats done anything they were elected to do?

America or Terrorist.
I have noriced things make sense also when you exchange America = > Us
Terrorist = > the people of america

read a politicians speech and replace those words, do they make sense. Bush is a great example so is Hillary etc.
I also ask that you keep in mind the speeches I am referring to are ones discussing anti-terrorism such as http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071010/pl_nm/usa_security_democrats_dc

As time goes by, incl. in the short term (2-5 years), the availability of abundant inexpensive energy due to the peaking of oil and gas supplies will mean a major downturn in the economy and many people who feel independent and comfortable now will likely be under or unemployed with no health insurance from their job and be unable to afford it privately. It may be a very fortunate thing if we take advantage of the current opportunity to establish a way, now, to share the cost of future health care for us all.....a stitch in time saves nine.

While U.S.A seems to be in a down spiral, Canada is doing extremely well. It is producing a fiscal surplus for the last 10 years, their debt is being reduced significantly, their currency is worth more than the American, and their economy is getting stronger every year. On top of that they are able to have universal and free health care system and an excellent school system.

Does that mean that the Canadian parliamentary system is more efficient than the American presidential system?
