No. Don't they generally make those announcements during the convention or right after wards? I could be wrong?

Too early to tell. The second tier candidates need to start dropping out before the bidding for VP gets underway.

I think it's too early to make that commitment. They usually try to balance the ticket from a different part of the country. I heard Evan Bayh from Indiana's name nentioned with Hillary.

I wish it were done like the original founders did it.

Vote on vice pres separately. That way you could have 2 opposing people in the executive. Makes it more interesting.
