Also, visitors from overseas (Huckabee's point) and people taking money under the table will be paying into the tax revenue just by spending money.

Would I not buy a new car vs keeping the one that is paid for and so forth?

Katrina remains the biggest shame of this administration, dwarfs Iraq in my view..... because New Orleans is our own... even if they are African Americans mainly...

The House wants to pass a resolution declaring the slaughter of Armenians by the Turks in the early 20th Century to have been genocide. Bush says he would not do it, it's not prudent, we need Turkey to ,,, to ,,,, to keep the oil he wants to keep stealing from Iraq, I guess.

Hey, Germany is an important ally in the war on terror, too. Does this mean that we should ignore the holocaust? Or are Jews (and communists and gays and gypsies and slavs and...) more valuable than Armenian Christians?

I need to understand this. Maybe the Right Wing can 'splain it to me. I'd love to understand how this works (Turks good, Nazis bad)? Kill Jews, very bad. Kill Armenian Christians, well, they'll get over it, it's no big deal.

What am I missing here, people?

instead of funding the irs, the republicans are for private companies retrieving taxes from deadbeats. why not give the irs the funding to do it themselves? they have the actual legal right to access confidential information. this isn't like privatizing school janitors or bus drivers. i know that they think they are pretty slick bypassing the unions, but bypassing the irs should be illegal.

Would you favor one candidate over another if that candidate had a solid plan for switching the economy away from gasoline to a hydrogen based economy?

Given the research and development breakthroughs in recent years, its entirely possible for the switch to happen over a 10 year period.

They do exactly what which they accuse Christians of doing.

I.e. they put belief ahead of reality.

They believe that Marxism will work if we can just get it right this time… even though it never works.

Even when it is historically & demonstratively destructive they still cling to big government, big spending and graduated taxation to help others.


You must acknowledge that just because a politician calls himself a Republican it does not mean they are a conservative.
