Well if you're refering to true Political Liberals we wouldn't be a country. Political Liberalism per definition is what this country is founded on. The lie is leftists calling themselves Liberal.

If you are speaking about the Marxist political left who call themselves Liberal today. This is exactly where we would be:

The war in Iraq would be over because we wouldn't be fighting a PC war and worrying about things like Gitmo and Abu Ghraib. Our children would be actually learning things in school instead being indoctrinated in social policy. The Black community would be lifted out of the mire of welfare. Immigration would be controlled and immigrants would be forced to assimilate a bit into our society, instead of celebrating diversity. We would probably have campaign finance reform and political term limits which the Demorats always vote against.

And liberty and justice for all.

EDIT: These leftists always compare themselves to Truman and FDR. Truman and FDR would have you Marxists locked up for subversion. Why don't you just compare yourselves to the dinosaurs you have just as much in common with them as you do with old school Dems. Morons.

Where would America be without Liberals? We'd be communist by now. I know, I know, contemporary conservative talk radio would have you believe that liberals actually push that nonsense, but talk radio is just talk. Getting your news from Rush is no better than getting it from the Daily Show, and at least the Daily Show admits they're a joke. But back to the point, if it hadn't been for the New Deal, Americans left Impoverished by the irresponsible fiscal policies of the days conservatives would have lead an armed revolt against the government. The government was afraid of communism back then, because it was gaining a lot of support among the people who were getting screwed by the Depression. If it hadn't been for the leadership of Liberal FDR, it could have been a reality.

But go ahead and trust your Government Inflating, defecit spending, corporate interest Republicans to take care of you. Good luck with that.
