The difference is that we're not targeting those innocent civilians, terrorists are. We cant do anything about an enemy who hides behind women and children.

Here in the UK, you're only a terrorist if you disagree with the war in Iraq.
The Terrorism Act 2000 defines a terrorist as a person whose "action or threat of action... is designed to change Government policy" and done for "political, ideological or religious reasons".
If you put up a sign saying "stop killing innocent Iraqis" or stand on the street with a placard saying anything against the war in Iraq, you are trying to change Government policy for a political reason, and hence you are a terrorist (if you do it in Parliament Square, you are also involved in organised crime as this is banned under the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005).
Ah, the joys of living in a free country.

first of all.. we are at WAR... innocent civilians die, it's an ugly part of war.. but, it happens. and the US military goes through great lengths in trying to MINIMALIZE that from occuring.. true terrorists can't say that due to civilians being their primary TARGET. secondly, MOST of the civilian deaths that have occured in Iraq is due to sectarian violence and terrorism... NOT because of military operations....

No. That would be the Islamo-terrorists in Iraq killing the Iraqis.
Why do you defend the real terrorists and try to make the troops look bad? Do you hate America that much?

Hello,
It all boils down to which side you are on. Remember that poster of Winston Churchill holding a Thompson Sub machine gun at his side with a huge cigar in his mouth? The Nazi government circulated that around their occupied countries with comments equating him to the American gangsters wit their " Chicago Pianos". One man's hero is another man's terrorist I suppose!

I don't put myself in the same category as our government...they may be terrorists, but I'm not...I'm against what they're doing...and the military just follow orders. I just thank God my friend is coming home from Iraq soon..too bad his brain is mush now.
