God, Family, and Country.

The only place I've seen these 3 great American values are on a conservative's profile. They don't have to be written in that format just mentioned. I myself have those 3 values on my profile in a different format.

Back to the question.

Liberals, please give me a STRAIGHT answer as to why you don't share these 3 values (God, Family, and Country) with the conservatives?

It seems to me that both political ideologies should be in unison on this.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

All the millionaire Democrats like to say that successful people are evil. They like to take away money from hard working people and give it to those who have not earned it. If the Democrats want to help out all the lazy, irresponsible, uneducated people and illegal immigrants, why don't they just open their wallets? Why should I have to pay to take care of those people?

"Aztlan belongs to those who plant the seeds, water the fields, and gather the crops and not to the foreign Europeans," the manifesto reads. "With our heart in our hands and our hands in the soil, we declare the independence of our mestizo nation. We are a bronze people with a bronze culture."

I mean something that has effected you personally. If you don't call overseas to suspected terrorists you can't include the overseas calls survailence program (which was authorized by congress and not Bush anyway). For me the only right I have lost was the ability to smoke in public but there again Bush didn't take that away either, some bleeding heart Lib in my state government did. So I fail to see what people are talking about when they say Bush stole their rights.

I think it would be the end of the democrats support if they have a dem president. The democrats to me seem like, they would rather end the war with a democrat president instead of a republican president. They could do it with their power now by stopping funding but they are afraid, and I think it is because a democrat pres is more symbolic and recognizable than owning any house. So they can always say 'it took a Democrats in the oval office to end the republicans war'. They already used that tactic to gain majorities and apparently that isn't enough.
But what is going to happen is, the Dem pres will not end the war, and they will lose all support from voters when they don't! finally even the thickest of supporters will come to their senses and make a vow.

Unemployment is 4.7%. It's up from 4.6% - that 0.1% being the entire impact of the "housing crash." There have been layoffs and work reduction for about a hundred thousand folks in cyclical industries - folks who during a five year boom made more than double what anyone with their skillset usually makes (home mortgage lenders are salesmen, they pull a credit bureau and if your FICO score is above the number the underwriters' gave them and your current rate is above the rate their employer is offering, they get paid just for calling you and filling out the forms - people made six figures doing that for a living for several years in a row, that's great but you're supposed to put half of that away).

Other than auto and airlines - which have done poorly for decades so if you went into those trades you knew the risks - everyone else is working. Everyone else's incomes are rising. The stock market is doing well and interest rates are down again. CPI is 2.5%. PPI is zero.

Then why haven't they delivered on their promise to pull us out of Iraq already?

After all, that was their biggest platform they ran on during the elections.

Could it be that they were just saying what people want to hear just to get elected?

Is anyone else sick to hell of Democrats crowing "free speech" then turning around and pushing the exact opposite? The last I checked, universities were some of the least hospitable places in the country for freedom of speech.

I wonder if Mr. McSwane has ever needed police protection, been physically assaulted by students or the target of a professor's personal hatred. Probably not.

if as a result, I should be treated differently from everyone else by our Presidential candidates or different political parties. After all, this land that was stolen, belonged to the Indians, you have taken my property.

I don't live on a reservation, I've taken every opportunity to better myself because it's there... but still, I have that heritage. I work for a living and pay taxes.... but still.....

Should I be pandered to and expect special treatment because of my heritage? Should you people pay a debt to me forever, for something that you personally have had nothing to do with? Or, shall we all accept the fact that we're equal and move on in life?

I can't believe it's been a month and I still here people complaining about the general betrayus ad. When I heard about it I just thought it was juvenile. I would have forgotten all about it by now, but flipping through the channels I see fox news is still talking about it. If you don't agree with it that's fine, but they had every right to do it under the first amendment. Not to say the democrats typical cowardly reaction of going along with the republicans and condemning the ad was anything to be proud of. Does it make you proud to see you're tax dollars at work as congress wastes their time condemning the ad (which means absolutely nothing)? It's not like we don't have important issues facing America right now, When are people going to wake up and see "issues" like this for the smoke screen they are?

all the evidence i've seen proves the exact opposite. conservatives, please provide me links to some evidence that proves global warming isn't real.

if no one can, i'll assume you've just made up your argument. that shows a lot about your party, and what you base your beliefs off of. perhaps you use the same intuitive logic when dealing with other political issues.... ?

i'll assume you want evidence that proves it's real. here you go:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Instrumental_Temperature_Record.png

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Carbon_Dioxide_400kyr-2.png

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Mauna_Loa_Carbon_Dioxide.png

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:2000_Year_Temperature_Comparison.png

please no user-generated "evidence". i'm not looking for things like "in the one graph, the blue line looks ....". factual evidence, please (and from a CREDIBLE source, not some crazy right wing website with an obvious conflict of interest)

Coulter has in many ways allowed me to understand why I hold certain conservative values and proudly so. However, as for her views on education and many social issues, I disagree with her. I respect her intellectual, political opinions. However, after calling John Edwards a "fag*ot" and joking about his dead son, I lost all respect for her as a person and am no longer willing to listen to anything she has to say. She needs not be so stupid about why she hates Democrats.

Now, in relation to the first point, I am an "independent conservatarian." By that, I mean I am for the legalization of most drugs, especially marijuana. I want considerably lower taxes, the elimination of practically all social services, and strong religious and gun rights. However, I do believe in a draft only when strictly necessary and support war in Iraq. I also think abortion is wrong.

Sincere and (at least somewhat) thoughtful analyses are appreciated!

In the 1990's, the same people that wanted the Kyoto Treaty had been blocking nuclear power even when nuclear power is cleanest form of energy around. Former Vice President Gore showed to America he was trying to destroy America's nuclear power industry. And in committees, Gore and his buddies quickly rejected scientists' ideas of using nuclear energy to fight CO2 emissions. Now (ten to fifteen years later), many of those same global warming proponents now want to use nuclear energy to reduce CO2 emissions. Those global warming proponents don't stop to think that America could be building new nuclear reactors right now if they never opened their mouths. They caused a 20 year delay.

Gore refused the idea of using nuclear power plants to make cheap hydrogen fuel for cars. (During non-peak hours, nuclear power plants can be configured to generate hydrogen which can be used to power cars). The only emmission from burning hydrogen in modified car engines is pure water.
