all the evidence i've seen proves the exact opposite. conservatives, please provide me links to some evidence that proves global warming isn't real.
if no one can, i'll assume you've just made up your argument. that shows a lot about your party, and what you base your beliefs off of. perhaps you use the same intuitive logic when dealing with other political issues.... ?
i'll assume you want evidence that proves it's real. here you go:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Instrumental_Temperature_Record.png
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Carbon_Dioxide_400kyr-2.png
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Mauna_Loa_Carbon_Dioxide.png
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:2000_Year_Temperature_Comparison.png
please no user-generated "evidence". i'm not looking for things like "in the one graph, the blue line looks ....". factual evidence, please (and from a CREDIBLE source, not some crazy right wing website with an obvious conflict of interest)

anthropegenic caused global warming.
and ret-roch, i said in my post no user generated content. please provide hard facts. if the argument were as clear cut as you make it out to be, why do +90% of scientists believe it's real?

Just one question, when the temperature in Alaska hit 100 degrees Fahrenheit in 1915, was this a sign of the impending ice age that was talked about in the 1970's? The earth has had many temperature cycles through out history, and will continue to have them throughout the rest of its future.

Not surprisingly, the best evidence conservatives can come up with is from JunkScience and Conservipedia.
I've asked this question several times in the Global Warming section where at least some people are familiar with the science, and even skeptics there can't provide any decent evidence that humans aren't causing global warming. Their arguments generally boil down to 'your evidence isn't convincing enough'.
Conservatives in the Politics section are far less informed about global warming than even global warming doubters in the Environment section, so I'd be shocked if anyone here could make a coherent argument that humans aren't causing the current global warming.
Nobody can. I'm not shocked.

The earth is warming, slightly, as it has done in the past. Just look at the historical data. Some of the hottest days on record were in the 1930's.
Where we part ways is that I belive it is a natural phenomenon and that our climate is cyclical, not that humans caused it.
Also, wikipedia is not entirely without error.

Global warming is not a myth; we just don't believe it should be used to advance a political agenda.
I do my part...do you?
PS...Some rhetoric RE: Science...scientist/geneticist Jerome Lejune claimed life begins at conception. Modern technology in medicine has shown us this to be true. How many folks dispute this claim?

Yellow days turned into Orange days and Orange days have not turned into Red days. We have so many Red days now in Texas its not even funny. To go out because of all the smog and pullotion just eats me alive. You use to be able to go out side and hold your glass up on a rainy day and collect water to drink.

the uneducated ones say it's a myth, the others say it's true but not caused by man. The mini ice age the seem to be talking about all the time now (fox news must have had a special) actually has been completely over for more than 150 years.
you can't disprove you never robbed a bank??? That's not true at all, all you would have to do is look at all the bank robberies that were unsolved in areas you've been in at the time and have an alibi. I can prove I've never robbed a bank.

In that one film, al gore says that global warming caues more frequent and stronger hurricanes in the south, and global warming is the cause of drought in the south. Completely false. the south is in a drought because there isnt enough hurricanes to bring them rain. FACT. Global Warming is a myth. Oh yeah, dont believe everything you read and see. Propoganda, smartass.

No one has said it 's not real. The argument is more over it being caused by man or naturally occurring. And speaking of conflict of interest and credible sources what are you going by Al Gore's movie?

It's not a myth. There is no question that the Earth is warming. The vast majority of people know this...........
I apologize. You want proof that global warming ISN"T a made made phenomenon? I think it would be more appropriate to prove that it is, it is much more difficult to prove something isn't than to prove that it is, wouldn't you say?.....
