Our Govt have spy drones everywhere and high definition cameras with night vision and infra red sensors and stuff which they dont have in the "dictatorship" of Burma.
So while they can go home at night and come back to protest next day, we will be picked up at home at night. This is why we dont protest ant this is the reality of Big Brother in the Western World

Why do People on the left always call Rush a Drug Addict... Yet never call Teddy a alcoholic?

Rush QUIT using Oxycotin.... Teddy is i still a drunk!

This makes no sense
Rush never killed anyone with his addiction
Teddy can't say the same
yet Teddy is ok and Rush is not!

I was prompted to ask this when I saw a question asking conservatives why they were against federal student loans. One conservative responded by saying that people should pay their own way through school. Did YOU pay your way through school, or did your parents? Did you use any sort of financial aid? Can you understand that a lot of intelligent, able people would be unable to attend college if it weren't for government financial aid programs? Sure, one could argue that these people should pay their own way through school, but it's kind of hard to pay so many thousands of dollars per semester when you have to work for a living AND pay for living expenses (food, shelter, clothing, et al.).

This is just another example of how far our country has fallen into dumbness and stupidity.

Imagine if we were in the 1930's and invited Hitler to the U.S. and treated him like a rock star?

Is Canada really a "true democracy"?

I thought democracy was all about having a majority of citizens voting for your party... But like, what, just over a quarter of Canadians voted for Stephen Harper?

And then theres the unholy CDP alliance (Conservatives and NDP working together in parliment to create a majority that can bash down on the liberals)...

...With the Conservatives and NDP having an "agreement" made behind closed doors, they become an unstoppable force in Parliment and can do pretty much whatever they want...

Now, I'm only 15, I don't understand everything here, but doesn't it seem a little odd to call Canada a "true democracy" when, once elected, a majority government can screw the people over?

I as a conservative know where I stand on fighting terrorism.

But where do liberals stand?

I know that you’re against fighting terrorism in Iraq, the Patriotic Act, racial profiling, wiretapping Mosques in America as a precaution to know if any Muslims there could be radical Islamic extremists (A.K.A. - Islamofascists) and some even against fighting and combating terrorism again America all together.
