12 X the audiance of the CONSPIRATORIAL Randi Rhodes show!
He was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 1993. In 2002, industry publication Talkers magazine ranked him as the greatest radio talk show host of all time.[4] Although Limbaugh's audience is not monolithic, he does attract the highest percentage (56%) of hard news consumers relative to all other television and radio programs in the United States. This is the most ludicrous question I've ever seen. A soldier can't serve simply because they are liberal? Rush was wrong, as usual, in his assessment of the fact. He also lied in the rebroadcast and posting of the transcript by editing out 1:35 in between his first mention of "phony soldiers" and talking about Jesse. Rush has absolutely ZERO credentials, he even flunked out of Southeast MO State and was declared 4F (miraculously) when he became eligible for the Vietnam draft. The benefit of having a rich (lawyer/judge) father. He's a liar.

Michael Savage is a splash bitter; he has indicated on some events that he "isn't a member of the club" and harbors some resentment. i think of that in basic terms because of the fact a guy like Rush is in basic terms in it for himself would not make him a fraud - he's a capitalist, he's a verbal substitute-prepare host, he's have been given some "megastar" stuff occurring - he's a debatable discern. What does Savage anticipate? once you come back all the way down to it, prepare employer is approximately being in it for your self, isn't it? i think it could be nice if Limbaugh and others positioned "The Conservative circulate" forward of their very very own aggressive rigidity, yet in a feeling which would be anti-Conservative, would not it? i admire Michael Savage - i admire Rush Limbaugh - i do no longer think of the two is "The Voice Of Conservatism" yet they each have exciting issues to declare.

The story that Rush trashed the troops who are opposed to the war is a lie started by Media matters. He only went after one person. A Liar named Jesse Macbeth, who claimed to be an Army Ranger, said he had been wounded, And said he seen atrocities in Iraq. The truth is he washed out of basic training after only 44 days.

Unfortunately, our all volunteer Military policy is the problem. The US really needs to have universal mandatory military service. The problem results from the fact that National Guard troops are being utilized so much now. Just about the only Liberals in the military just joined the Guard or the Reserves for the benefits, paying for it with a couple weeks active duty each year. But now, they are being sent to Iraq and Afghanistan and boy, HOWDY, they don't like it one bit. They want to stay home and be a weekend warrior. The result of these deployments will be that most of the Liberals will drop out when their enlistment is up.

What would you call someone who was so terrified at the thought of combat that he used his butt-boil to escape it? I call that Rush Limbaugh. During Vietnam. A pathetic coward. And THAT coward is criticizing troops who are being shot at?! It's beyond mind-boggling.

I applaud your efforts . . . but even you misunderstood what Rush was saying. Rush was talking about a particular soldier who had come forward and was a hero to the left. This particular soldier claimed to have a purple heart and be an Army Ranger as a Corporal when in fact he was dismissed after 44 days in boot camp. A phony soldier! And that is the rest of the story. Phony soldier's name was Jesse MacBeth.

I do not applaud Rush for labeling any soldiers who disagree with him as 'phony soldiers'. Nor do I applaud your implication that he was calling any soldiers cowards and scared to fight because they disagree with his views on the war. You didn't really read that article, did you?
If you had, you would have seen:
"Limbaugh was responding to a caller who argued that anti-war groups "never talk to real soldiers."
"They like to pull these soldiers that come up out of the blue and talk to the media," the caller said.
"The phony soldiers," Limbaugh responded.
I have no respect for Limbaugh, but even he didn't call any soldiers cowards... yet you did. Shame on you!!

It's funny how the liberal media spins this ....If you actually listened to his show Rush was talking about an individual by the name of Jesse MacBeth....He was touted as a "hero" from the liberals and told all the horrible things that happened in Iraq. But quess what Jesse MacBeth, was NEVER in Iraq and was NEVER an Army Ranger. He was in the military for only 44 days........It amazing how the liberals will LIE for their own agenda.....It was Rush who was calling out the Liars like Jesse MacBeth.....

Oxy Rush is in a good position to call troops cowardly. He would have been a brave troop in Vietnam were it not for his medical deferment for a pimple on his *ss.

Anyone that hates Rush has never spent the time to listen to what he has to say. He is right 95% of the time. That's why he is the most listened too Radio Talk show host in the U.S.
(I never heard him talk about the troops so I can't comment on that at this time)
