WASHINGTON — U.S.-led forces have killed one of the most important leaders of Al Qaeda in Iraq, a Tunisian believed connected to the kidnapping and killings last summer of American soldiers, a top commander said Friday.

Brig. Gen. Joseph Anderson said the death of the terrorist in a U.S. airstrike Tuesday south of Baghdad, and recent similar operations against Al Qaeda, have left the organization in Iraq fractured.

I can't listen to my A.M. sports radio because it's being jammed by propaganda from the extreme far-right. Fox News bashes mediamatters.org for only reporting what O'Reilly said. If it was wrong he shouldn't have said what he said. But if he was right, why is he all hot and bothered if somebody re-presents it in its entirety??

Notice, they (Fox News) stay all quiet when "one of their own" says some extreme whacko comments. See Rush, in pure Rush form.....

i didn't really believe people that said Bush was an idiot until yesterday, an assh*le, yes, but not stupid. then i saw the clip of Bush on the Daily Show saying that "childrens learn better" under No Child Left Behind. people say ROFL online metaphorically, in this case it was not a metaphor, i was actually rolling on the floor laughing.

I mean really how progressive and open minded can people be... (joke)
When people say stupid stuff I really wonder what has happened to the left that they actually hate somebody who has different political beliefs. Not very tollerant.

"The choice before us is plain, Christ or chaos, conviction or compromise, discipline or disintegration. I am rather tired of hearing about our rights and privileges as American citizens. The time is come, it now is, when we ought to hear about the duties and responsibilities of our citizenship. America's future depends upon demonstrating God's government.

I live in Michigan and work at a restaurant. I've run into two people from Seattle and Oregon, and they both lived up to the stereotypes! One was a huge vegan, and the other wanted me to re-use a foam cup for her drink! How nasty is that?

Christ, what is wrong with people up there? Is that place as bad as I imagine it is to live? I lived in Ann Arbor and I hated it! I guess I just hate liberal cities...the people are so WEIRD.

AHMADEINEJAD: What religion, please tell me, tells you as a follower of that religion to occupy another country and kill its people? Please tell me. Does Christianity tell its followers to do that? Judaism, for that matter? Islam, for that matter? What prophet tells you to send 160,000 troops to another country, kill men, women, and children? You just can't wear your religion on your sleeve or just go to church. You should be truthfully religious. Religion tells us all that you should respect the property, the life of different people. Respect human rights. Love your fellow man.

I'm not attacking gays by no means but this is ridiculous to start introducing kids to homosexual relationships at an early age.
If this is allowed the next question is raised how young is too young to learn about sex and reproduction.
You can argue that this book isn't about sex ed. in general but questions are going to be asked when your 3rd grader comes home from school and asks how does a man and a man make a baby mommy? What will you say?

If you factor in the cost of dealing with the radioactive waste, nuclear fission is the most expensive, dirty, and dangerous form of power ever conceived.

I still think that the USA is a great country. Yes we have had some problem with our leadership but a few bad presidents should mean that we give up on it if anything it should mean that we work harder to hire someone better next time.

I know that the "Under God" part of the US pledge was added in the Cold War, but did you know that they recently added it to the Texas pledge? "Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible."
It is a law. You must say it unless a parent writes a note and they document it.
I'm just wondering why it is a law when it clearly violates the first amendment right to freedom of speech.
(And if anyone is wondering why it bothers me, it is because I am a student living in Texas.)
What are your thoughts?
