I do wish they'd look into practical solar power. I guess they will the minute someone figures out how to charge for sunlight. Whenever Bush is for something, I assume some friends of his stand to make money from it.

Oh, Nuclear Power is no solution? What is your solution, slick?
I know, lets convert all of the food crops in the world in to biofuel farms!! And then you liberal, global warming obsessed, freaks can ***** about a the people starving in the word! And then you can blame that problem on the U.S. as well.
Expensive? Any more expensive than the proposals I've heard of so far: ethanol, hydrogen, solar power?
Global Warming is a myth:

Let's start spending our time, money, and resources on real problems. Like kiling jihadists.

I don't believe it's a ploy - I believe that when faced with insurmountable data and confirmation from experts and scientists from all over the globe - even Bush has to re-access his position.
I agree with you, nuclear power in its present technology and waste disposal strategy is not the answer. Perhaps renewable, safe alternative energy sources will be forth coming in the near future - but don't look for the advances to be forth coming from Exxon/Mobile.

I will say you are wrong.
nuclear power is the best thing we can generate with, because it was designed as a bomb first everyone thinks it is the great evil of our time. You really should take some classes on nuclear power to get a better understanding of it.

You are right, it is a ploy. But only to get the environmentalists off his back while he plots to rip the American people off for more money. I don't think he has stolen enough money or made enough poor people in this country yet. No one remembers the Savings and Loan fiasco. The first day it broke on the news there were three guys and the mastermind was none other than George W. Bush. Because his Dad was President, the next day and every day thereafter there were only two guys. And the two guys got off with a year each in a country club prison.
