Prescott Bush did have his assets frozen under the Trading with the Enemy act during WW2. But I think helped Hitler's rise to power may be a stretch.

Most of the people who equate the Iranian president with Hitler don't know how the Iranian government is set up. Hitler, as chancellor of Germany, controlled that countries military. A president of Iran doesn't have that power. That power rests with the clerics.
As for Bush's grandfather, it's old, irrelevant news.

Many US conservtives and industrialists admired and supported the Nazis during their rise to power and early years in power.
What sets Prescott Bush apart in a class of traitors by himself is that he continued doing business with the nazis through 1942, which was some months AFTER Germany declared war on us. If he hadn't been a Senator, he likely would have been tried and convicted of treason.

Not related to Bush at all. Whatever his grandfather did has no impact on him. He had no power over the man and could not control him.
