One of the replies is 100% wtong. One does not have to be a Jew to become an Israeli citizen. I have a number of friends who are Chritians and who live in Israel and who are citizens of Israel. They also served in the Israeli army. Many Arabs are citizens of Israel and own shops and restaurants, etc. When Israel was taken over by the Jews in 1947 the Israelis offered the Arabs to live peacefully with them and develop the land together. The Jews were attacked the next day and it has not stopped since.

Well...the daily barrage of kassam rockets from the Gaza strip sure as hell doesn't help the Palestinian cause--especially when those rockets are purposely fired at civilians.
Or the suicide bombers that are stopped before purposely killing civilians.

Hamas' goal is to inflict death on innocents, and as long as they have the ability to do this, then there can be no chance at peace.

How many Israeli's have died while shopping or eating, or even watching a movie, or a at a dance club.
Last time I heard, it wasn't Israeli's strapping bombs on their toddlers or handing guns to their pre-teens.
