So what if Rudy Giulani's daugher supports a democratic frontrunner. CNN actually made a story out of this, albeit brief. They said that Giulani's daughter listed herself as being an Obama supporter on facebook.

So what?

Giulani has already asked the press to respect his family's privacey.

So was it right to report this story?

I mean think about it, you have Democrats and Republicans, not politcians I mean regular people, rabidly debating whether its true or not and whether we should do anything about it. But what people think lately seems to go down party line, which I think is sad because it means that special interests on both sides are dominating the debate, environmentalist groups give money to Democrats and oil companies give money to Republicans, both have different interests in the issue so their stance becomes the party's talking points and people just decide that that's what they believe without think for themselves. I think that's sad because it means they're winning, these corrupt greedy groups on both sides control the parties and the money and now the minds of the people. Why don't people just do their own research instead of reading biased opinions and come up with a consensus and a plan instead of bickering on behalf of special interests?

For those of you who have been silenced or repressed by political correctness, what have you done about it? Did you stand up for yourself or remain silent?

I'm anti-abortion and anti-war, but I don't think it's hypocritical to oppose abortion and support the war on terror because abortion and war are two separate issues. Why try to reconcile them?

are you ready to go off the cliff with them, like a bunch of lemmings? They're arguments are not supported by fact. They promote lies as the truth. Before you go off the cliff with them make them show you credible facts, because they can't. Then after you see them for what they are, we will welcome you into the republican party.

Would you want to be convicted with the same kind of "proof" that you have against Bush on WMDs?

Can anyone cite me the raw intelligence that Bush said "left no doubt" that Iraq had WMD in 2003?

Or is the "left no doubt" just the lie that Bush added himself.

The Iraq war is now a hard core right wing war (the 32% that still support it) & if it is lost they are the ones who are going to take the biggest fall & they know it & it will be to a bigger enemy than Al Qaeda. It will be the biggest lost conservatives have had to the libs since Roe v. Wade & they will do anything in their power to make sure that US troops don't leave Iraq until at least Bush has left office even though they know the best US troops can do in Iraq is stalemate.

Which to conservatives is certainly better than a loss to the libs, only US troops will continue to be killed for conservatives benefit. Is that what patriotism means these days? Cover you own a*s?

a success or not?

-Is there a deadline date?

-Is there a certain number of terrorists/insurgents that have to be killed?

-Does the civil/sectarian war have to stopped?

-Does Iraq's borders have to secured?

-Does Baghdad have to be 100% secured?

-Do Iranian & Syrian supplies to the insurgents/terrorists have to stop?

What will determine the success or failure of Bush's Surge or is it really just giving Bush more time to cut & run from the White House in 2009 & not have to take the blame for losing the Iraq war?

Wow four questions all the same, makes you think...

Anyway, As is my understanding:

George Bush cheated his way into office.
Took long vacations.
Was about to go down as the worst president of all time but 9/11 saved him because the nation understandably needed a leader.
Stopped all flights excepted for the saudis who supposabably did it but because they've invested trillions in the american ecconemy if they were to pull out because one of the royal family was killed it would go t i t s up.
Took away some liberties to fight the war on terror (patriot act).
Took the country to an illegal war.
Lied about the WMDs.
Actually went there for oil.
Continued to tell lies about winning the war even though the solidiers are still fighting.
Somewhere along the line opened the gyntanimo bay prison where people are held without trial because they might be terrorists but probably aren't.

Am I right?

Gays have to fight for certain rights primarily because of their lifestyle, sexuality, 'choice', "abhorant" behavior, etc.
but let us face it. because there are many amongst us who practice "abhorant" sexual behavior also ( the same type sex as is practiced by gays only between man and woman, bi-sexuals, those who engage in threesomes or foursomes, etc.) Yet no one is questioning their behavior.
And Congress wants to limit rights?
Lifestyle or not, at least gays are coming out of the closet.
Those practicing deviant behavior amongst so-called "straights" continue to get away with it with no restrictions on 'rights'.
Seems to be a double standard here.
