I personally speak my mind even more,,If I'm right I'm right,,I don't give a rats rear end if someone is offender,,,I have yet to have anyone show me where it says in the constitution that they have a right never to be offended...If someone doesn't like what i am saying they can walk away,,choose not to read what I am typing, etc.....I support Rossie Fat *** O'Donnell right to make a fool out of herself on national TV,,I totally support Keith Oberman proving he should go back to sports center..I support Al franken showing exactly why he has no measurable audience, and Airhead Americas right to exist If libs want to keep dumping cash into that Black hole...haaaaaaaaaaaaa..

Freedom of speech or expression can be misused. The word "liberal" is used by Conservatives as an epithet, and a children's book was written, entitled "There's a Liberal Under Your Bed." They do not hesitate to call others "unpatriotic," "Friends of Osama," or an assortment of other ugly names, simply because of political disagreement.
And while they support the carnage in Iraq, they fine television stations for using the word "Damn" before nine p.m., as though their behavior will not affect their children far more than curtailing freedom of speech in the media. Nor will the flicker of a woman's breast cause their children to be sexual deviates.
To the Conservative crowd, political correctness means waving the flag, pasting on bumper stickers that say "Support the Troops" and frequently pushing for more violent wars, accusing those who believe otherwise of being cowardly.
We must have freedom of speech, but the Karl Rovian belief that political slurs and ideological lies are part of it has caused a huge divide in this country. As a Liberal, I can support troops by wanting them to come home. I can support going after Osama, Al Queda and the Taliban, while jeering at the occupation of a country that was no danger to us.
Nothing is more powerful than words. They are mightier than the sword. One can use this precious freedom wisely, or abuse it constantly. It is a choice you are free to make. By knowing the facts and figures of any issue, one doesn't have to use personal insults to prove a point. If you misuse your freedom by descending into profanity and infantile behavior, you have taken political correctness into dangerous slanderous depths.

I said Merry Christmas to my boss, who is a Christian, a couple of years ago and was immediately told by a co-worker that I shouldn't say that. She said I should say "happy holidays". I just told her that it will always be Christmas to me and that with her attitude, we may not be getting these holidays for very long. However, if I had been speaking to the Jewish manager, I would have said "Have a nice holiday."
Political correctness is just showing respect for others. I'm only half way there and probably will never be completely politically correct. Have no intention of it.

Your question lacks any specific example so answering it is difficult. If you are saying that if someone disagrees with something you say is threatening your freedom of speech then you are wrong. That person is exercising their right to free speech. If you believe that person should not be able to express their opinion then you are guilty of suppressing their right to free speech and are being hypocritical.

1st if such thing Happened, these ain't political correction, it would be better to call a political suicide to keep the government feeling good knowing no pain in *** will appear to annoy their sleeping, it wont be easy, you have to collect as many as you could people to do strikes and gatherings to prevent such attitudes, and to let the government knows that their is an awakness and the free-well is free to do and to change.

Ok, this is a serious question.
I once had the misfortune of going to work for a company that had just migrated from Oregon and I was just about the only person in the office that hadn't made the move from Oregon with them.
Asked by my boss about a certain customer one day. I told her that he was a Mexican looking to move to the US and got immediately chastised for slandering him. Seems everyone in the office felt that the word Mexican referred to poor illegals, laborers, criminals and the like.
I attempted to explain that the man himself had referred to himself as a Mexican because he was a Mexican national and was told I needed to refer to him as a Hispanic.
When it happened again, I made up my mind that THEY were not people who I wanted to work with.
I will not stand for that kind of self-righteous bigotry that belittles a whole country of people and attempts to take away their national pride.
It was an excellent job with a huge income potential, but I have never regretted leaving. I would have rather have left than put myself at risk of becoming one of 'them.' My sense of sensibilities are not for sale.

Well, I am a teacher and I refuse to tell kids that things like homosexuality or pre-marital sex are acceptable, or normal.
I refuse to accept any sort of liberal values that go against my own morality, and I have taken heat for it, but I am a darn good teacher, and they know it.

I basically just get P.O.ed, and realize that what I have to say, while true, will probably fall on deaf ears, so it won't be worth it to say it. Strange, how "liberals" today would rather have their own rights trampled on than to offend someone. I thought the whole concept of freedom of speech was made so that we COULD offend someone without worrying about political correctness.
