At the national level there's not a nickel worth of difference. At the local level, it can be a whole different ball game. At least in Texas, republicans tend to be really conservative and believe in exactly what the state party platform states.

A liberal/democratics believes in wealth redistribution, a weaker U.S., and helping extra socialist innovations. A republican is a water boy for the democratics. they does no longer vote for the liberal/ democrat schedule, yet they specific like presiding over it.

Two different political parties. Two different agendas.
Both favor big govt and big govt spending.
Democrats pay for their funding by taxing now. Republicans pay for their spending by running up the debt, so the govt has to tax later.
Both favor heavy govt control.
Democrats want govt control of business. Republicans want govt control over personal choice and private intimate relations.
