I'm really wondering . And I don't ask questions about gays , so if you're gonna go on a rant about it , then save it for someone else .
Somebody's answer to another question got me thinking about this . And it does sound logical that if it were hereditary or in our genes so to speak , then just how hard or really easy would it be to prove it ? Cmon now . . take a hundred or a thousand gay people , do a dna analysis and compare to see if there's any consistencies . Right ?
I would love to see reputable scientific studies on this to answer the question once and for all .
Wouldn't you ?

How, exactly, does the military of a country which is at war over terrorist attacks using airplanes, "accidentally" sell thousands of military airplane parts and make them available to enemy nations?

Bush supporters? Got an answer that doesn't involve blaming Bill Clinton?

The Bible says we are going to be condemed for a lot of things we do, but that doesn't mean we should deny our citizens rights.
Should we ban marriage for those who have commited adultury? Or....... ? pick any sin.
I'm a conservative and I don't like when libs take away my rights, so I try to be careful not to take away others rights. We live in America, where people have rights, even those whose behavior I don't necessarily agree with.
And libs, would you be so kind as to do the same? If you think something is a good idea, great, feel good about choosing it for your life. But let me do the same for mine. Don't force your idea on me just because you think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I mean, there's almost a mathematical formula to this that I have detected. To the extent that we make progress, the Democrats' political hopes are diminished. Now, what kind of political leaders position themselves that way so that they only win when their country loses? And what kind of brains do they have to position themselves in such a way so that when we make progress, their political aspirations are diminished?
They're the ones that created this situation. They have aligned themselves with the enemy. They continue to align themselves with the enemy. They won't admit it, obviously. The enemy kills more soldiers, their spokesmen here in the U.S. are the Democrats. When we kill more of the enemy, the Democrats are silent and they say nothing. But when we have reports of, you know, another IED, or pictures of a car on fire -- then the Democrats assume the role of media PR spokespeople for Al Qaeda.

Can it get any worse?

While we're at it which prominent Democrat said:

#1 "I want you, to hear directly from me what is at stake for America in the Persian Gulf, what we are doing to protect the peace, the security, the freedom we cherish, why we have taken the position we have taken...Those who have questioned the United States in this moment, I would argue, are living only in the moment. They have neither remembered the past nor imagined the future...Saddam Hussein's regime threatens the safety of his people, the stability of his region and the security of all the rest of us...And some day, some way, I guarantee you, he'll use his arsenal.

#2 "If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction."

#3 "One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."

"Since the Second World War, various political leaders have fostered fear in the American people - fear of communism, fear of terrorism, fear of immigrants, fear of people based on race and religion, fears of gays and lesbians in love who just want to get married. Fear of people who are just different. It is fear that allows our political leaders to manipulate us all and to distort our national priorities."
- Mike Gravel

Although i am still an obama supporter i think gravel hit the nail on the head when he said this. what do you think of it??

It would appear that The Left's strategy of Balkanizing America by breaking it down into allegedly victimized special interest groups that compete for preferential treatment is (predictably) blowing up in its face, as each "oppressed" clan tries to out-snivel the others:

July 31, 2007 -- Three veteran workers at the state's Human Rights Division have lobbed federal lawsuits at the agency, charging a bizarre pattern of discrimination that hurts women and blacks in favor of gay white men

http://www.nypost.com/seven/07312007/news/nationalnews/gay_white__males_suit_nationalnews_kati_cornell.htm

Hmm, apparently they didn't get the Left's memo - it's the white hetero Christian male that is the source of all evil in the world, and the oppresed groups must work together to destroy him - right libs?

I'd like to know how many of you have a diverse array of political leanings (liberal, moderate, conservative, Repub, Dem) within your circle of friends and family. Do you live in a mainly Republican area and so don't really know many Democrats, or the other way around? Does everyone you know intimately feel the same as you do about politics or are you exposed to different outlooks and ideas on a regular basis?

Do you discuss politics with people in real life who differ in their political beliefs with you, or just in this forum?

Thanks!

When the reality is they are all fanatic nationalists. Better at abducting random foreign nationals. I dont see how they can appropriate the word patriotism. Clearly the least patriotic is a team that supports voter caging, flat out stealing elections, selling out the Constitution for imaginary protection among other things.

You know?

They (the Democratic Party) COULD absolutely blow this election out of the water...

But, NOOOOOOOOOOOO, they have to come up with Hillary and Obama, which will NEVER happen.

They have Hillary....yeah...that's just what we need...Bush Clinton Bush Clinton…then what Jeb Bush?? Why don't you people just crown them already...

Then there is Obama...who has NO experience and is already talking about going into Pakistan....Aren't we already in a war that no one wants to be in?

Can't you people find ONE good candidate? You mean to tell me that the Dems HAVE this next election and THIS is the best that they could find?????

Are the Dems on a secret mission to get another Republican elected? If they are, and they keep these two...you succeeded in your mission!!!!

California Democrat politicians are stubbornly refusing to reduce the billions of dollars spent on undocumented people. Because of Democrats, Republicans are forced to cut money from other parts of the budget.

The money thrown away on undocumented workers could be spent on hiring more public safety officers to fight gangs, lowering tuition for deserving college students, fixing hospitals that are not earthquake safe, buying new fire fighting equipment for cities around the state, etc..

Currently, Democrats in California want to spend an EXTRA $700 million on undocumented workers. Republican politicians are trying to block the spending by proposing spending cuts in other areas.

Currently, California alone spends over $10 billion a year extra because of undocumented workers. That is $50 billion in the last 5 years.

Mahatma Gandhi Ji , is equivalent to Jesus and Buddha, and for me even greater then them, as people can find short coming in Jesus and Buddha, some Moron stupid idiot who does not have any love and respect for there parents can find failure in Gandhi Ji, Jesus and Buddha, by the way I can bet that people who feel disgrace when they see there mother father and children, and people who got abusive mother father, give disrespect to Mahatma Gandhi Ji.
