Mahatma Gandhi Ji , is equivalent to Jesus and Buddha, and for me even greater then them, as people can find short coming in Jesus and Buddha, some Moron stupid idiot who does not have any love and respect for there parents can find failure in Gandhi Ji, Jesus and Buddha, by the way I can bet that people who feel disgrace when they see there mother father and children, and people who got abusive mother father, give disrespect to Mahatma Gandhi Ji.

Those people who were abused by their parents and got no love from their parents try to find faults and critisise Gandhi Ji, Jesus, or Buddha, I belive in humanity and I Respect Gandhi Ji, Jesus and Buddha, equaly but love Gandhi Ji more as he was a human but still his acts and teachings was as devine as God, Jesus and Buddha.

Sri Gandhi is a great guru.
Of chourse that we can compare him whith Buddha ,because we all can be like Buddha , Jesus, or Gandhi!
Don't be affraid to recocise! It is not neccesarely to make puja for Gandhi, but see that much more peoples has folow Gandhi!
Please see that Jesus could be unknown whithout Roman empire! And he doesn't said somethink unknown on this period . In India alll his spirituality was applyed!

I respect Mahatma Ji. He is a responsive politician. his thoughts were based on religious high thinkings. He had some spiritual practise and even may had some religious meditational success too.
But Ganghiji could not be equated with Jesus or Buddha. Jesus and Buddha are of different fields. Their teachings were empowered by religious spirit. But teachings of Ganghiji was empowered by religious findings.
Both Gandhiji and Jesus were assassinated. Jesus resurrected but Gandhiji for the last time only could prayed to the LORD as 'Ha Ram' . Whether Buddha at the end of his life got 'Nirvan'.

Mahatma Gandhi Ji was a freedom fighter: You can not comapire with jesus: Or Budha ( Regarding Budha I doesn't have good knowledge) but Jesus was a messenger of god (He was a prophet): and ( Mohammed (pbuh) also last prophet for this world.) Mahthma gandi ji he almost follow the rules of messengers of God. But he is only person (human being) Mr. Nelson Mandela, Mr. Mohammed Ali Jinnah Likes this many people are only the freedom fighters: Mother Therissa also Nobel Prize winner but we cant say that she was also equilent to jesus or other prophets.
All prophets respect their parents. Every body must have to respect our parents. We are Indians those people not respect theire parents we have explain our indian culture and about our relegions. (in every relegion respecting their parents) even though we have to respect our neighboursalso.

Buddha teached about 8 karmas which a man must perform in his life to attain salvation and Jesus preached 3 commands or commandments and Mahatma Gandhi also preached 3 commandments for ones life that is Dont hear bad things- watch bad things with your eyes- utter bad words without your mouth - how many of us in this world are following the gandhian principles - answer is none of us

I have reservations n critical opinions 4 each n every 1 of em 3. They failed @ certain level somewhere down the line just like ne other human. Son of God, Messenger of God etc. is 4 ppl who r gullible or 2 lazy 2 think 4 emselves. For heaven sake, please donot compare Gandhi with Jesus or Buddha. What qualities does Gandhi have that make to paralle with Jesus or Buddha.
Gandhi was surrounded by ladies. Gandhi was a lawyer and was practicing in SAfrica. He was fighting for his freedom and eventually for India's freedom. He was the greatest politican of the last century in India. He along with Nehru were instrumental in dividing greater India. He proclaims to be a Hindu but was always supporting Muslims.
Please my friends, donot spoil the greatness and preachings of Buddha or Jesus. Being in China for the last 1 year, I am a great admirer and follower of Buddha and Buddhism. I am very pained when you are drawing parallel with Gandhi.

It is regrettable that in India, people have no gradtions to make when they want to compare personalities.
Jesus is deemed god by Chistians and Buddha by Buddhists.They are objects of worship and highest reverence.
Mahatma Gandhi was a social reformer and Father of Indian Nation. He must be respected and not necessarily venerated.Hence, Babuji is not equivalent to Jesus and Buddha.

The difference between the three, according to the texts regarding each written by their proponents, is that Jesus was Divine at birth.
Buddha achieved divinity by his meditations during his life, Mahatma Ghandi by popular vote after his life, but according to Christians, Jesus was born the son of God.
btw, I'm neither Hindu, Buddhist, or Christian, but that's the fact.

If M K Gandjhi was God then Why was he scared going to North West India now Pakistan prior to partition of India on papers. Pakistani muslman would never have spared him. He knew his peace teachings could be understood by peace loving hindus and he was safe in this area
( Gandhi was a party to partition conspiracy).

Jesus was the son of God He has no short comings. Mahatma sat around got hungry sometimes and talked.
Well Buddha isn't even worth mentioning. You need to study more about these two people and Christ.
