How, exactly, does the military of a country which is at war over terrorist attacks using airplanes, "accidentally" sell thousands of military airplane parts and make them available to enemy nations?
Bush supporters? Got an answer that doesn't involve blaming Bill Clinton?

Hey, "who cares" - here's your answer. Terrorism was happening long before Clinton got in office too. Guess you can't blame him for "not doing anything about it" any more, then, huh? So "precedent" is your defense here. Interesting.

Jackie O: You're right. I won't blame Bush any more. I'll blame the guy who is in charge of the military. Who is that, again?

That is why I don't trust the government . This happened because of crooked dealing or because when you deal with bureaucracies there will always be screw ups that is one reason I don't like big government . To easy to screw up and to easy to cover up.

Bless our senators for being on the ball.
Blaming Bush is a cheap shot, as would be blaming Clinton.
Get over it.
Our country is doing well when our senators catch mistakes like this. Using it to score points on a political agenda is a waste of time and the wrong angle.
You spend all the time whining about our President, just like they did when President (remember to add that part in your posts, out of respect) Clinton had to deal with, when you could be helping the Democratic party by pointing out the efforts of patriots in our Senate trying to fix the problem.
Positive spin helps the country. Negatives spin makes us look like children, particularly when it involves exaggeration, name calling, or "innocent until proved guilty" style reasoning, such as the insinuations rather than directly saying it this way:
"This is an example of how our Patriotic Democrats are protecting our country, isn't it? Your opinion?

We should investigate to be sure that our country is acting in it's best interests and that nothing improper by our laws or Constitution was being done, as parts were sold that can be used by Iran.
I would be curious how those who are politically bigoted against the Democratic party would respond to this news event. I notice a lot of use of our former President Clinton to avoid issues about what President Bush is doing now or how well the Senators are doing. I'd prefer if we could avoid that, as it really doesn't deal with the question.
(Or better, just leave that part off, as they aren't going to listen to you, anyway).
Thanks for the post and proof! Glad they are on it.

The US is openly selling weapons to Saudi Arabia and "accidentally" selling weapons to Iran. Things haven't changed much since Iran-Contra. The military industrial complex is not in business for national security, it is in business to make money.

its not bush there is somthing deeper than that. bush is only a guy that is put for the tv. they are selling the planes fot the countrys that they have control over it, by the way these planes they sell to these contries can be disabled by a press of a button. they are not that stupid, people think deeper than that.

Don't you know that we will only be able to achieve safety as a species when each individual human is armed to the teeth? Or so arms dealers would have us believe.

if they don't pose a threat, we cant invade them. better make sure they've got shiny new planes!
Jackie O - you're a f*cking idiot. iran is the only other country that uses F-14s. we just retired them in 2006 (during bush's reign) who else would buy them from us?!
