and if I am not allowed to do so - why is Fox allowed to do so?

You can (legally) advocate overthrow and dissolution is you advocating doing it by lawful means, or just say it's a good idea without actually telling someone to do it. -- Those are the lines that keep such advocacy within free speech.

And that's how Faux News gets away with it -- they stay within free speech guidelines. Just like Murdoch advocated in a recent court case, where he argued that news anchors should be legally allowed to lie and mispreresent the truth during a broadcast, because it's free speech.

I'm going to need a source to see that Fox advocated that. To answer your question, no, you can't say that. Anything that advocates violence against a person or the government is not protected under free speech. You could talk about getting your state to secede peacefully I would imagine, but you can't advocate the overthrow of the government.

Just another Liberal or left wing nut that's pissed at Fox for exposing your Anti-American George Soros hate propaganda, like the Daily Kos, and the boys. Your also pissed that they have an equal number of both Rep and Dems debate issues that usually show how flawed the Left is, but your probably just another liberal who prefers 3 Liberals squaring off against 1 weak Republican, like the Bill Mahr show.

Liberals- Fox news and it's programming is number one for a reason, they haven't sold out to the Liberal Bias, and platform. So don't watch, it's called freedom or choice or called simply changing the damn channel to your Anti-American Bush Bashing news.

I can't keep up with you guys. First, Fox is a shill for the Republicans, now they're advocating the overthrow of the US?

Never let facts get in the way of your position!

Fox doesn't do that. You need to listen closely instead of hearing what you want to hear. Selective hearing can be an terrible thing. But if you want to, go ahead. I seriously doubt that you will last long unless of course you have the majority of the Muslim listeners. And of course if Bin Ladin and his group have a radio, you might have a fan or two.

As long as you stick to advocating legal measures, say what you like.

Advocating such by the use of force or other illegal actions is, however, illegal. And FOX, as far as I know, hasn't--though I'll agree they caan be obnoxious! lol

No, you can not. Fox gets away with it because they are part of the Right Wing Propaganda Machine, and therefore, above the law.
