No WMD's, no terrorist training camps, no support of terrorists.

The war in Iraq was, is, and will continue to be wrong because it was never justified. Justified would mean the benefits outweighed the terrible costs in human life and human suffering that wars cause. This one is so far from justified it's ridiculous to even argue about it.

So much for republican moral and ethical superiority.

It was liberals that supported a new concept called Democracy. Conservatives opposed it. They supported King George. Liberals supported the bill of rights. Conservatives opposed it. Liberals were against slavery, conservatives supported it. Liberals were against Child Labor, conservatives supported it. Liberals supported equal rights for women, conservatives opposed them. We are running out of space so I'll get right to the point. In the USA, Liberals supported a war against Adolph Hitler, Conservatives apposedt it. Wake up. Consumer confidence in the U.S. jumped more than forecast this month to the highest level in almost six years, suggesting the June slowdown in spending may be temporary.

The New York-based Conference Board's index of confidence soared to 112.6, from a revised 105.3 the prior month. Earlier today, the Commerce Department reported that consumer spending rose 0.1 percent in June, slowing from a 0.5 percent gain in May. A measure of inflation closely watched by the Federal Reserve eased.

Confidence among Americans, whose spending accounts for more than two-thirds of the economy, is being shored up by a jobless rate that's near the lowest in six years and income gains that have outpaced inflation.

Think Giuliani is in bed with the medical insurance companies?? I just read a news report about him saying all Americans should have it and the government shouldn't have to help. He also tried saying that if we all had insurance through private companies, the rates would go down?? Is he out of his mind?? Even a specialist said it would be YEARS before they would drop if ever. Insurance companies are out for one thing...MONEY! Thats why they can pick or chose if a patient dies or not because of cost. I find this practice disgusting.

Clearly someone who makes minimum wage will not have the benefit of insurance or enough insurance to get the good medical care that a wealthier person has access to. So, does that reality reflect American values? Is this what Americans want for America? The poor perish, the wealthy thrive?

And if so, is this a means of social cleansing?
