some people cannot see beyond the groups they associate with. If you ignore how your actions affect others, no actions are bad, only inaction.
And since most of them are always crying how inaction is the worst thing, it appears this would be the view that they hold, ignoring how anyone or anything else is affected.

It's about control. They want the power of the Presidency and even if that person is a war-mongering idiot they are going to support him and try to make it seem that they rest of the world is the one with the problem. Same goes for his minions. They want control, they want power and they really don't care about the issues. The only care about doing what they want to do. They care about issues come election time when they need your vote.
