The only problem I see with it is the fact that Rudy isn't a Libertarian, he's more of a Liberal.

i do no longer think of that the Presidency is the race to dissipate countless third occasion aspects. the only wish of unseating the Pied Piper is a superb solid Republican candidate. At this ingredient, Libertarians ought to be targeting state legislature races and a very few chosen winnable abode of Representatives races. they ought to be leaving the Presidential race, the Senate races and the battleground abode races to the Republicans to objective to get rid of Democrats. it particularly is the reason Ron Paul has been so helpful. He knows to artwork during the typical Republican occasion. If he had worked during the Libertarian occasion all alongside, he could be basically yet another unknown Libertarian, or at maximum suitable tilted the competition in the direction of the Democrats. because it particularly is, he's a very helpful Libertarian voice with an R beside his call. After the Libertarians benefit an important presence in some state Legislatures, and maybe a house seat or 2, then we can evaluate a intense Senate candidate or 2, and progression from there.

I don't know anything about Ted Stevens but Rudi- were he not to be the GOP nominee- would be a formidable third party candidate. He would definately split the Republican ticket and affect the Dem nominee as well. I still think a democrat will win though.

What kind of Libertarian want Rudi G. for President? We don't just want to win the election, friend. We want to elect someone who's pro-freedom on all issues. You'll scarcely find a member of either major party who fits the bill.

Rudolph Guliani is far from being a Libertarian. He didn't practise property rights when he was mayor of Ny. Ask all the people who's cars were impounded without a trial when he was mayor. He aint gonna change his stripes with the power of the presidency behind him. His support of Roe v Wade show his lack of support for states rights.
