I know the question seems biased and judgemental and that is not the intent. Neither term or ideology is 'right' or 'wrong'.

I was just thinking about the arguments both parties use and I have distilled the rhetoric into two basic themes: 'me or we' with Dems=we & Reps=me.

Do those terms define the identities of both parties at their respective cores?

One nuke will explode in Houston. The other nuke will explode in Washington, DC.

That's my prediction.

Pelosi, Hillary, Kennedy, and Kerry have done all they can to prevent us from protecting our border with Mexico.

Those Dems will gladly protect your kids and the border IF you give them a payoff of something else in return.

Are you proud to support them? Do you admire how they won't protect your kids unless they get something in return?

Liberals make me itch, but I don't want to get rid of them. This is America! All thoughts, views and philosophies are welcome.

I am actually GLAD for liberals because it proves that we are not a communist country and everyone can voice their opinions freely just as everyone can debunk other people's opinions.

I see liberals constantly citing polls that show around 65% or higher of Americans do not think the Iraq War was worth the cost. Liberals take this as a sign that Americans want out. Yet, they fair to disclose that these same polls show that only around 15% of Americans want the US to leave Iraq immediately, and the US is pretty split on whether setting a timetable for withdrawal is a good idea. Why would liberals not disclose parts of polls like that? When they constantly say that Bush is a liar, what example are they setting? Am I the only person that does not enjoy being lied to and manipulated by the liberal media?

I do not even support abortion in the case of Rape or Incest .
Life is life from conception and should not be interfered with period .
Doctors need to save both lives if possible then it becomes do you save the crack head mother or the innocent child . I vote the child .

if the dictator was a socialist with ideas similar to theirs....say, someone like Hugo Chavez? I think liberals would rather live under a socialist dictatorship rather than the current system of democracy that we have, which often times elects conservatives. What do you think?

I think the government should not be able to control who has kids. I mean could you imagine the government saying you have to have that baby. I do not recomend getting abortions, but sometime people do make mistakes. People are not perfect. Conservative woman and liberal women have had abortions. I just feel people should have babies when the are financially and emotionally able to support one. If someone is in a very desperate situation, and they know that child will be brought into a world where it will not be supported or loved it is their choice whether to get an abortion or not. It is not population control or murder like some say it is.... but it is a very personal decision and a person would only have one if they know that the child will not have the fair oppurtunities that other kids have or will not live a decent life. Do pro-life people think about what happens to those kids after they are born?

I always hear about wanting to have the say in a child they donated sperm to, but why don;t I ever hear about men putiing pressure on the medical community to come up with a way to make them pregnant? Why only concerned with it while in a woman's body? If you want equal rights, why not demand that science find a way for you to incubate a baby? Or how about, having the conversation with the woman BEFORE you get her pregnant, and find out what she would do? That's what I did with my fiance...so no surprises. So, what's up guys? Where is your outrage over how UNFAIR it is that women get to be pregnant, and get to endure child birth?

I was browsing the 'net (something I shouldn't be doing since I am at work) and I came across this old article:

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/1999/09/07/MN81261.DTL

In a nutshell, this program paid crack addict women to get long-term birth control or to get their tubes tied in order for the mom to stop having crack-addicted kids who are born with severe health problems.

Some said that they found it harsh because it targeted poor women of 'color. (That is sad that when something like this is mentioned, the first demographic that is sited is 'women of color'.)

What do you think of this? If a politician brought this up, would you support it?

I am a moderate democrat and I have to say that we only seem interested in embarassing Bush and not in getting anything done on our own merit.

I get it: The Bush administartion is a mess. That is not news.

The question is what are we going to do about it? Trot out Scooter, Gonzalas, Rove and anyone else that screws up and point and snicker. Gonzalas is not worth a vote of no confidence!

What about the war, immigration, securing the borders and William Jefferson ( I mean c'mon !...and I'm a black man!!!!)?

This is why democrats cannot win presiential elections! The party cant be trusted! We do not stand for anything but to get elected we will say anything. I do not think much of Bush but at least he stand by his convictions, right or wrong.

We do not even fight! We let the GOP paint us a weak, limp punks and we cant even muster the stregnth to beat back Karl Rove, let alone a Bin Laden.

Dems: STOP WITH THE BULL**** AND GET TO WORK!

Tsunamis sweep things out also!!!
