I haven't seen this. Ever since 94, the Dems have NEVER looked at themselves to see out what they were doing wrong. It was always someone else's fault - "the Reps used scare tactics, the voters are ignorant, the Reps stole elections, the Reps prevented us from getting our message out [as if they ever HAD much of a message...]" etc.

This "win" for the Dems will be easily lost in 08 if that party does not take a good look at itself and what it has done wrong, and how it fails to connect with people, and why many people find them distasteful.

While they did win, they barely squeaked by, and the margin of majority in both houses is razor thin. It was hardly a resounding victory, and hardly a "mandate" from the voters that they wanted a wholesale change.

What say you? Remember, I'm talking about the Dems here - yes, the Reps have messed up with their base, but they DID hold power for the past 14 years. So they did SOMETHING right, at least for a little while.

Love Jack

SO far, it seems the difference is that when reps do it, it is changing their mind, but when dems do it, it is flip flopping'. What is YOUR definition? And this time, please answer the question, and refrain from personal attacks.

People grow up believing in a certain party and become blind to what is best for them. It does not seeem to matter if their political party becomes corrupt, they still support them.
They don't even want to consider the opposing sides ideas.

Choosing a party should not have to be a lifetime decision. Sometimes people need to do what's right.. like many finally did on Tuesday. But how can there STILL be such blindness when the lies are exposed?

In the U.S., health care costs are getting so high that some businesses and insurance companies are starting to eye the potential savings of outsourcing health care.

"It's just one of the many ways in which our world is flattening," said Arnold Milstein, chief physician at New York-based Mercer Health & Benefits who's researching the feasibility of outsourcing medical care for three Fortune 500 corporations. "Many companies see it as a natural extension of the competition they've faced in other aspects of their business."

Blue Shield of California and Health Net of California is now offering lower-cost policies allowing members to seek medical care in Mexico. Florida-based United Group Programs, which sells self-insurance policies to small businesses, offers a plan that sends patients to Bumrungrad International hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. It says the plan will save employers more than 50 percent on major medical costs and slash employees' out-of-pocket expenses to zero.

I consider myself a moderate and I'm tired of liberal/conservative people messing up our country. Conservatives are mostly a bunch of greedy war mongers that have tried to convince people their beliefs are the only moral choice. Liberals are a bunch of whiney bums that criticize, but offer little to no solutions. Do you agree?

I read that most latinos in the usa voted for bush over 80% of them and in the 2006 elections mostly went republican. I heard that many MExicans like him too. He is quite popular in colombia too. I dont know why the dictator of venezulea hugo chavez hates him so much.

Today there was two minutes silence to remember those who diedin various wars. WWII was a fight against the evils of fascism and nazism. It was understood then that we needed to stand up for tolerance and freedom from oppression. So why can't people now see what the British National Party is really all about? They are neo-fascists! They believe in racial segregation and in maintaining the purity of the 'White British' race. Follow the sinister link below. Much of the science is fairly accurate, but ask yourself why such an article is so prominent on the website of a modern political party.

Do you think that 'some' deny the existence of Terrorism, because we don't WANT to Believe it's true ?

I've pondered, long and hard on this issue. For the LIFE of me, I am unable to understand why 'some' diminish terrorism as not a REAL THREAT . Yesterday, I decided to AVOID the use of words like Republican, Democrat, Conservative, Liberal, etc. because I really want to get a 'clear view' of what PEOPLE THINK. I'll probably have to use those words, from time to time, but I'll 'avoid' them, in the interest of CLEAR VIEWS.

So what's your CLEAR VIEW on this topic ?

Why does my color only matter in election times? Being a Democrat I have found my acceptance is not my color, but "what we can do" as compared to the Republican over tone "what can you provide"? An inter racial marriage and bipartisan home has taught me greatly, what I can expect. Questions of why in the rebuplican camps of Y.A. show racial overtones at me from stupid to your a racist. Will the Republican party ever accept responsibility for there guage of second class citizens?
