I consider myself a moderate and I'm tired of liberal/conservative people messing up our country. Conservatives are mostly a bunch of greedy war mongers that have tried to convince people their beliefs are the only moral choice. Liberals are a bunch of whiney bums that criticize, but offer little to no solutions. Do you agree?

Well is that where the Democratic Party comes in to have Liberals and Conservatives to get along, the Only People should be ashamed is the Far Right Extremist Conservatives like Rush Limbaugh making Fun of Micheal J. Fox, and why did 6 GOP Senators and 28 GOP Congress Members lost there Seats to Democrats, Because there Morons.

Its Okay to be a Conservative Its Wrong to be an Extremist and really be Ignorant to the People you represent in Washington.

I agree with your statement about the liberals, but on the Conservatives I think you are wrong.

Can I ask you a question? What's so great about being a moderate? Have any books been written or movies made about "Great Moderates in History?"

Were great men in US history like Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, FDR, JFK, Martin Luther King, and Reagan moderates?

Moderates do not accomplish greatness. They are not agents of change or reform. If our founding fathers were moderates, we would still be a colony of Britain. If Lincoln were a moderate, the South would be an independent nation (not passing judgement here, just stating a fact). If FDR, Truman and JFK were moderates, all of Europe would be Nazi / Communist.

Great things are accomplished by those who act on what they believe is just and right, often upsetting the moderates of the time.

That's what great about being a moderate, you can shoot darts at both sides. The fact is, both liberals and conservative are minorities by themselves. They need moderate support to get elected. As such, if they bash you for being a moderate, they lose.

Believe it or not, the Bush Administration is more aiming to the Left. They've irrationally spent govt money like a fat man with IBS. They've also are influencing a bigger govt. They call it compassionate conservatism.
The problem with the Democrats is they do try to solve problems, but they do it in very stupid ways. They try to restrict the economy not knowing the damage they are doing to the smaller business. They think blindly when it comes to the economy.

I'm over on the far left, and I don't whine and criticize without offering solutions.

But I see your point. A lot of us do.
