President Bush has stated on several occasions that Saddam was not linked to ANY terrorist threat.

Really, is their attention span that short?

People can't get it through there heads that Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11 or with terrorist, but the neocons keep trying to play that worn out card! They are as thick headed as their leader!

Oh, I just went to you tube and Bush saying Iraq had nothing to do with the Iraq has been removed!

This will have to do!

Republicans!!!

Hich! It may be about their freedom! It has nothing to do with protecting OUR freedom! Those are being taken away! Things like habaes corpus which dates back to the Magna Carta! Yes, those in the military are brainwashed! That is the first on their agenda at boot! Been there, done that!

And I am not sure we are going to have any effect on who ends up in power in Iraq as they are in the middle of a civil war! Eighty percent of our casualties in October were killed by Iraqi's, not terrorist!

Terrorism is a idea. It is not a person. There are many who want to put a face on this idea. Our solders are no longer considered liberators, rather an unwelcome, "Occupying" force and therefore we have become a target for the wrath of an oppressed people.
If we keep using the word "War" when we talk about withdrawing, it makes many Americans think we are running away from a war or surrendering. What we need to be discussing is ending the "Occupation" and ending it ASAP and then 'Stay That Course."

Most people are easily influence with repetition.

Bush & Co. are very adept at this.

Bush has implied more that the 'war' in Iraq is a fight against terrorism and an action for 9/11 than his own admission that Iraq had nothing to do with it.

By implication he was able to get the uninformed to believe there is a link.

And this, to me, is but one of the reasons that makes this man a danger to society.

Because, Saddam was funding terrorist camps. He was harbouring them. He may have not had connection with the exact terrorists of 9-11, but he did help others.

I know you saw that other link already, so I will post different ones

I can't find the other one that I had. But it showed the attack of the US troops on a terrorist camp in the invasion

I have a guy emailing me that his tour of duty in Iraq is fighting for my freedom. Either he is a liar about having served or he is brainwashed. How else do you get people to agree to voluntarily go into Iraq? But yeah, attention spans really are that short. Actually shorter

Do you have Alzheimer's and no memory of Dubya's comments when he sent the troops into Iraq? NOW, he says there's no connection - that's not what the fool said at the beginning of the war.

Because, we don't have a war on terror anymore than FDR had a war against aviation. We have a war against Islamo fascist, and Saddam was a threat.

Most of us would like to get something done to stop the Islamo fascist before 30 US cities dissapear under mushroom clouds.

Are you really that dense?

Many people have great difficulty admitting that they were duped. In fact, it can create a backlash of anger.
