In light of how the GOP has just been absolutely shellacked by the Democrats, if Bush were eligible to run for a third term (hypothetically) do you think he could win?

Detailed, intellectual responses ONLY. I'm quite aware that some people are for it and some people are against it, so if all you're going to write is "for it" or "against it," or "for it because it's a woman's choice" or "against it because abortionists are baby-killers," don't bother. I want to know WHY you believe what you believe; no rhetoric, just plain, factual support for the opinions you have.

Because he just refuses to bang fat chicks in the oval office, rape and harrass his subordinates, cut and run like we did in Mogadishu/Somalia, and fvcking damn it, every time terrorist hit us overseas, he keeps going after them. Couldn't he just gotten a ******** from a fat chick and let things be like we did when the USS Cole got bombed?

I am strong against it. I can't believe it passed here in Missouri. They bullshit you. All the other stem cells havn't made any cures. Why would embryonic stem cells work. IT HAS NEVER WORKED!!!! They're creating a life and destroying it just for a slight chance that they're might be cures. You don't take a life for a life. It's unfair. Aborition should also be banned because you are destroying a life. Democrats in the past 20 years have gone way downhill. DEMOCRATS RAISE TAXES!!! Why would you want to raise taxes??? THEY"RE ALREADY HIGH ENOUGH! Bush has cut taxes in America over 1 trillion dollars. STEM CELL RESEARCH AND ABORTION IS WRONG!!!God is pissed.

personally i think it shows them for what they really are and most of america although they voted dem they sure won't like this. ppl don't like this kind of behavior, i've noticed many rep's are offering up their congrats (including myself) only to be harassessed and calling nasty names...this is who the dem's are, they are not inclusive, they are not compassionate and they certainly are not uniters.

My husband is getting on my nerves about getting a job. I recently got laid off and I realized something. Why doesn't he just find a job that pays more? He has an opportunity to go overseas and make 80,000 a year tax free and I think he should take it to support us. What do you think?

For the past twelve years they have been saying Republicans were doing everything wrong.

With the Democrats in :

Will there now be fiscal responsibility?

Will they do to their own what they expected the Republicans to do for their own that had improprities?

Will they go back to the tax and spend programs of the past?

Will they really have genuine tax reform or just a bandaid where major surgury is needed?

Will they revise the electoral college so that it reflects the way people vote instead of a winner takes all?

Will those in here who screamed so loudly for impeachment suddenly get larangitis?

Will they become bipartisan and work with the other party?

What part of what they promised will they accomplish in the next two years?

Will they run with the ball or fumble it like they did in 1994.

Remember if you were voted in-- You can be voted out!

Thank god Marijuana didn't pass, it was pretty close to, what were the people thinking who voted for it? True, it can bring it state revenue, but think of how many drunk drivers will be on the road, what are your opinions?

I take heat every day for my voicing displeasure with Rumsfeld.
Now he's gone.
To fight a war with moderation is imbecilic, and to me, almost criminally negligent. That he's allowed a number of our troops to be tried for "war crimes" based on the "testimony" of the enemy, is the worst example of leadership I've seen since Clinton.

Make no mistake, Rumsfeld did give our military back it's honor after Hillary neutered them, but since then he's left our soldiers to languish by not allowing them to fight.

My question is:
Will the dems permit our troops to put down the Sadam loyalists and Sadar's Mhadi Army, or will they demand that America declare defeat?

Our unemployment rate is lower than its ever been, dow is as high as its ever been, gas prices are at an affordable $2.08, America hasnt been attacked since 9/11, tax cuts put more money in our pockets. Our economy is booming right now, and idiots of America have voted in a democratic house and senate that has campaigned with no plan to do anything but destroy the good path America is going in. I am in shock at this horrible election result...Liberalism didnt win this election and will never win an election. Republicanism lost it because people are so naive on the war on terror. This world was going in the right direction until this election result happened. Al queda is probably rejoicing with this election...
