Why did Democrats campaign with no plan to do anything but bash the war?

Our unemployment rate is lower than its ever been, dow is as high as its ever been, gas prices are at an affordable $2.08, America hasnt been attacked since 9/11, tax cuts put more money in our pockets. Our economy is booming right now, and idiots of America have voted in a democratic house and senate that has campaigned with no plan to do anything but destroy the good path America is going in. I am in shock at this horrible election result...Liberalism didnt win this election and will never win an election. Republicanism lost it because people are so naive on the war on terror. This world was going in the right direction until this election result happened. Al queda is probably rejoicing with this election...

And yet a platform of "Well we aren't the Republicans!" won. You would think that would be enough to have you realize that you might want to get your facts from somewhere other then conservative talk radio.

Unemployment is down: Sure it is. That is because Unemployment payments have run out and people are forced to get jobs that paid as little as half as much as their old jobs.

The dow: It took this administration 6 years to get the Dow Jones back to Clinton era numbers. When Clinton took over the Dow Jones was at 2000+. When he left 11,000+.

Gas: Tell me you really fell for that one. The only reason gas went down was because of the election.

Attacks: The actual terrorists have not tried to do anything since 9/11. How hard is it to send suicide bombers into 7/11 every other day somewhere different around the country.

Tax cuts: The economy is good because the rich are sustaining it (Bill O'Reilly your guy said that). But this is a false economy and has a 75% chance of sliding back into recession (Forbes)

Your are just upset that a bunch of leaderless, platformless, weak on issue jackasses beat you simply because they were the other guy. SHould tell you about the current state of the GOP.

i dont know what part of america you are living in but it is not going in a good direction. tell me how is it going in a good direction when my mother spends most of her retirement money on medication because medicare will only cover certin things to a certin cost. how is it that health care still is not affordable to everybody. and you say america has not been attacked since 9/11. yes it has what about the familes of all the inncent soilders that are losing their lives in an endless pointless war. what about the father that has been depolyed for so long he has been able to see his newborn daughter that is now two. tell me what have you done to support this war other than agree to send brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, husbands, and wives out to get killed?
