Why don't some Republicans get it?

I have seen alot of Republican whining today. America (Democrats AND Republicans) have spoken! Why do you think so many "red" states went "blue"? Can't you see Bush has failed our troops? How many more need to die? Bush has ignored the Geneva convention, supported torture, lied, failed Katrina victims and has embarrassed the US with his stunning stupidity. It is now a matter of making a change. It is time for both parties to work together now that we have restored checks and balances.We need to work on getting our troops out of Iraq and bringing back the respect that we have lost! What is so hard to understand?

Will the Democrats waste this oppertunity to lead our nation by focusing on the past and trying to punish Rep.

I hope they do not waste all there time with impeach bush or get rid of so--and --so and lets punish him or her and focus on the matters at hand .We do not need a dozen committee's investigating water under the bridge or spilled milk . Lets move forward in America .

The balance of power has switched?

Looks like the balance in the House has switch but the Republicans still have control of the Senate. Currently the situation in 49 for the Republicans and 47 for the Dems. Even if the Dems do take those two states, the Senate will be stuck in a dead even tie. The two independents could carry the Senate either way. But, for now Republicans still have its power structure, with the presidency and the Senate.
