YES! I am in Pennsylvania, and we got rid of Rick Santorum, a man who thinks being a public servant = lecturing his constituents like they are 5 year old children, all the while voting for anything the President says. In my district, we also got rid of Don Sherwood, another Republican who ran on "family values" but who, in reality, carried on a 5 year affair with a woman that only ended after she called 911 to report him choking her.--A cheater AND a woman beater. He also voted against money for our troops & against making insurance coverage for breast cancer mandatory. I've met him on occasion, and found him to be arrogant beyond belief. I was thrilled to see him lose to Chris Carney, a family man, Navy veteran, and someone who served in the Pentagon as a consultant in anti terrorism issues.

No, unfortunately I live in a state that is not the same as my party affiliation. While I dont vote straight line I still tend to lean toward my party. But thats the way it goes. At least we all get a chance to say what we think.

This state that has always voted republican ever since the days of Alf Landon's opposition to FDR and is one of the reddest states in the union is finally waking up.

Nope. The people gave a second chance to a politician that has proven to be a corrupt crook who favors his hometown over the best interests of the state.

I'm OK with them. It would have been fun to see Kinky the Independent win and appoint Willie Nelson his advisors, but the voters took the high road. LOL
