Never, that is what I see. It is not only the lack of education or the fact that African resources are being stolen. If you gave Africa and it's resources back to the Africans, they would really not advance much, they would never become a superpower, I think they will always be a 3rd World Continent.

Wrong question. Africa is a CONTINENT. This is the equivalent of saying, "Do you think North America can be a superpower in the future?" North America consists of three separate countries. It's not a unit.

Thirty years ago no one thought China would be the power they are now, so anything is possible. However, given the enormous problems facing African nations, I don't see them becoming a superpower. There is too much corruption within the governments, warring states, and with the AIDS crisis, there may not be enough of them alive in the future.

They just can't seem to get past how to join together as one.
