I'm sure they're writhing in agonizing pain, contemplating suicide and indulging in mind-numbing narcotics.

Honestly...did they really think, that after all the corruption, the scandals with the mistresses and young boys, Karl Rove, Donald Rumsfeld, the "war" in Iraq, the lying and misleading, that they'd honestly win.

Their own people voted against them.

Kudos to the Independents who banded together and voted Democrat. Couldn't have done it at a better time.

What's all the whining for, Repubs? I mean, honestly, do you think that after everything that's happened, the Democrats will somehow make things worse? C'mon. You're kidding yourselves.

Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Feeling great! If the GOP had won the house, I believe the 2008 presidential would be lost.

Now we have the likes of Pelosi and Dean heading up the democrat's give away programs. What better allies to insure a GOP win in 2008!!!

If you believe it hurts....that means you probably feel good. I'll bet you take more from society than you give. Live with that!

The problem is: when i grew up, simple things like killing babies and crashing planes was a bad thing. I wish that we could all have faith like a child and realize that not all of the morals and ideas that democrats embrace or good for all.

From a mexican that did. (vote republican that is)

Every social worker, teacher, and blue collar worker in America is rejoicing today.

One thing I find interesting....many people who vote republican do so because they feel that they are of a higher social and financial class than they really are. They feel they are of the 'higher' class, and therefore must vote accordingly.

Oh, we're sad. But, the terrorists in Iran and Syria
are rejoicing as they probably see the end of the war
with US being defeated. You "winners" will probably
be glad to see Republicans back in office after the
next two years of Democratic static.

I am feeling very good thank you, just wait until 2008. Sen John McCain will own the White House.
I hope John Kerry, and Al Gore run, then us republicans will win by a landslide.

Amen. I'm a Republican and I'm feeling actually good, I voted straight Democrat because I (like obviously most of the rest of the country) was tired of the smug, arrogant "politicians" and thier lies.
Now I'm hearing the words "comprimise", "working together", "new directions". I havent heard this in years!
Balance is what our fore-fathers wanted in this country, and I think we are back to having it!
