I guess that they are "measuring the curtains" now aren't they.. Bush was so positive that the Rep would remain in control of the house and senate... I am very glad that the Dems won and am really hoping that Virginia and Montana.. allow them to take the senate as well..
Some Dems have said that they are not going to concentrate on the impeachment ... but why not.. I think that it is time that the message is driven on home that we Americans are sick and tired of the lies and all of the smoke and mirrors that the Bush Administration has provided.
Bush wants to "Stay the Course" in Iraq.. the course of being not in control.. the course of American soliders dying everyday to maintain some kind of stabilty for Iraq?? Iraq is a civil war, in my opinion it is not going to matter if we leave tomorrow or if we leave 20 years from now.. they are still going to turn on themselves and rip each other apart.
For a person or for a country.. they have to WANT the change to make the change.. and apparently the majority does not want the change.

I agree with you on 100% on certain points, but you have to realize that it really is the other way around.
The Religious right was not given factual information on these issues. For instance, one time on CNN Headline news I heard Bush's entire speech. It had issues in it that would worry most Christians, but Christian Radio edited the speech so it only showed Bush in a very positive light. And that's the problem, the Christian Coalitiion has been fed highly slanted information, which means that they do not get a realistic picture of what is going on.
So, please don't blame the religious conservatives for the problems. Blame the people who provide the information to them.

Well, religion in this Nation has served US well
for the past 514 years. God has blessed us.
We have been the most moral and the most
powerful Nation in the World.
So, it is my belief that removing religion from this
Country (and politics which runs this country) will
be a detrament, not an asset. Eduction without
religion creates clever devils. Wait and see...........

Yeah, it was definitely a referendum on the most corrupt and inept administration in American history.
P.S. - Idiot above - I guess calling the Dems "whiny spoiled brats" is part of your idea of "gracefully losing"...LOL.

What business? Pulling our troops out before the job is done, raising taxes and calling them "minimal sacrifices" that Americans should make for the greater good. We are in trouble and you Lib's are too blind to see it. Good Luck with your choices. GOD BLESS AMERICA
