Isn't the fact that he was a dictator first is enough reason to hang him. What does being Muslim have to do with it?

Yes he was a dictator and he was evil but saying that by the interviews with Iraqi`s Ive heard .It sounds like it is so bad there now many of them would rather be back in the days of Saddam ..There are death squad militia`s torturing and killing about 100 people a day there now and throwing the bodies in the street .If the rumours are to be believed(and it doesn`t sound improbable to me) its high ranking officials who are controlling them, the police force and the army are full of them .think about it about 3,000 a month even Saddam didn`t kill them at that rate, in fact Iraq had practically no crime and Sunni Shea and Christians lived together in peace ,IThink if Saddam is hung now while Iraq is still occupied and in ,chaos he could well end up being seen as a Martyr people have short memory's they remember the good old days (even if they wasn`t that good at the time)

Anyone found guilty in a court of law has to face the consequences of their actions.
The Judge decided that Saddam should hang like a common criminal. Saddams choice of execution was the firing squad, but this was denied.
Bearing in mind what this evil dictator did to his own countrymen, I have no sympathy whatsoever.

First of all it is not our laws that will determine his punishment, it is the laws of Iraq and they allow for hanging. Secondly, what does the fact that he is Muslim have to do with it? Would he have been more acceptable had he been a Christian dictator? I understand that at one point Hitler professed Christianity, was he a good guy then?

Its what they would have done to Hitler (if he hadn't taken his own life in that bunker) all captured Dictators, despite having a trial, will face the Death penalty for their crimes

Who convicted Saddam? Was it done by testimony and evidence of his own people? I think so. He deserves whatever the courts adjudged for him.

Not our government. Just be glad they dont believe in letting the man rot in a cell until his attrocities are forgotten and he's released in a clerical error.

Yes. Lets admit that he did kill innocent people. People of his own country. Leave aside his religion, status or caste. He killed people and gets hanged. I believe thats fair enough.

in case you spot the international completely by non secular specs. then not in basic terms the president of the US yet unquestionably all and sundry in ability might seem to be twiddling with not in basic terms muslim, yet all faith's thoughts.yet that already places you in a particular class through fact not all and sundry perspectives the international as a playfield. That reported, which Bush do you recommend, the senior or the junior? Any decision of this question might point out an indictment, not sentencing.
