Hitler wrote in his 1925 autobiography Mein Kampf (James Murphy translation, page 134):

All this was inspired by the principle - which is quite true in itself - that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation.

Then, he told us that he didn't even consider him a priority.
Do you care about that?

Have tensions between the parties remained steady, decreased, or increased over, say, the past 30 years? Your thoughts and examples for why you think so would be appreciated.

If they do, its no wonder that other countries think that the majority of those in the United States cannot read , write or think

oh and please. its just a question. and I am not at all intimidated by those who come here to attempt to humiliate or embarrass. once again, it's just a question and please do not equivocate because if you do I cannot respond because Community Standards tells me I can't. And if you still chose to do so, I will simply block your answer which I CAN do.

It must cost millions to fly a jet around and pay for security, rent the whole floor in the best hotels, etc. to raise money for the republicans. Why do we have to pay the bill? Isn't that misuse of funds or something?

Was there something in particular that Kerry wanted Bush to apologize for that had to do with Kerry's blunder? Was it just an attempt at damage control as he knew that his die hard supporters would automatically agree with him if he demanded an apology from Bush?
