Even after 9/11, Bush simply let him walk away.
Then, he told us that he didn't even consider him a priority.
Do you care about that?

Yes I do because at the battle of Tora Bora in Afghanistan in December of 2001, we had Osama Bin Laden cornered, and rather than using Special Forces troops to either nab him or just kill him, our military paid Afghan War Lords to go after him, and god knows where he went or what happened. Point being, he got away. Ever since then, I think America has had a black eye because the rhetoric of our president after 9/11 was we're going to get him dead or alive, and it never amounted to what he promised.

Bin weighted down is in all probability lifeless. U.S. intelligence claims that bin weighted down desires dialysis each 3 days and "this is reasonably evident that that must be an argument once you're working from place to place, and dealing with the belief of needing to generate electrical energy in a mountain hideout. the U. S. Federal Bureau of study's counter-terrorism chief, Dale Watson, says he thinks Osama bin weighted down is "in all probability" lifeless. Pakistan's president says he thinks Osama bin weighted down is likely lifeless because of the fact the suspected terrorist has been no longer able to get therapy for his kidney ailment.

I want to know where you got your information from. I never heard that we captured Bin Laden. You have to capture someone i order to let them go free. What he meant by he doesn't consider him a priority is that by the time that statement was made it was obvious to Bush and to those of us with brains that actually pay attention to what goes on in the world that Bin Laden was not directly running the show anymore. He has his top people running things, because he is not cpapable of doing so directly. Bush still want to capture him, it is just not as important as those running things right now. Nice try mister liberal, got anymore talking points you want answered?

let me clear something up for you neoCONNED. Clinton did indeed try to go after Bin Laden but you see? the Republicans were busy exploring Clinton's pants and cigars so when Clinton asked for backing to go after Bin Laden the Republicans accused him of "wagging the dog" and stymied Clinton's efforts.

doesn't it bother you neoCONNED at all that the Bush admin flew Bin Laden family members out of the USA only days after the 9/11 attacks (while all other planes were grounded) BEFORE they could be interviewed by investigators? doesn't bother you that Bandar Bin Laden Bush had a nice little dinner with George even while the Pentagon still smoldered? doesn't it bother you at all that Texas Gov George Bush invited Taliban leaders from Afghanistan to tour the USA, even visiting Congress? are you neoCONNED so incurious that these happenstances slip in and out of your propagandized minds without notice?

PS. special forces had Osama in their sights in Tora Bora but needed back up, back up that could only be ordered by the president. GW Bush did not order any back up.

PPS. the Republican neoCONS have been in control of the government for 6 years now. the "but but Clinton" routine is getting really really lame. time to find a new excuse for the incompetence of your faux Cowboy of God.

okay now let's see he was cornered in the mountains of tora bora in dec. of 2001 but instead of the troops we needed sent to back up our guys they were sent to do recon work in Iraq, was clinton president? as Melanie stated the PDB Bin Laden Determined to Strike in the US was given to W days before the attacks but hey he was on VACATION. in fact does it concern any of you that for 85% of his time in office W's been on "vacation" if you did that at your job how long would you have it? What happened to the tapes of air traffic controllers asking for the Air Force to scramble something about destroyed and placed in several trash cans was the testimony wasn't it? your blind devotion to this former cheerleader and slacker is both amazing and sad all at once,It troubles me that you are allowed to breed and then you homeschool these kids, can the jack boots and tan shirts be that long off? will the 22 nd amendment be repealed before '08? or is the next puppet already in the wings?

Wait....seriously? I thought it was all Clinton's fault.
And Bush got the report "Bin Laden Determined to Attack the United States" days before Sept. 11th. The report claimed on a scale of 1-10 for seriousness..it was a 10! It's a freaking FACT! Look it up. Why aren't people outraged?

Then Bush did nothing!!! Whatever party you are, this man needs to answer some hard questions.

I care that you are unbelievably stupid. I am terrified of what infants are learning these days, because this question is beyond the pale, stupid.

You libs think you could glue together your party by intoning that party members gain instant access to intelligence because they affiliate with your caring, bleeding hearted. Those are emotions. Not thoughts.

It is a sad state of our country that you could allow your kids to think this way and posit stupid questions.

The terrorists can win this war, feeding you the propaganda they want spread. Are you going to play with them? Do you understand that they won't like you and want to kill you? Why are you helping them? It doesn't make you smart.

It was Clinton that let him walk not Bush. As for Bush getting a report on the threat bin-laden posed DAYS before the 9/11 attacks...What was he supposed to do in days? Clinton knew it for YEARS, what did he do? (besides Monica)

Is Bin Laden free?
C'mon Mikey, you do realize that if ever, I mean EVER
Recognized, he will be denigrated into the earth, if not by the US Military, but by the very Muslims who fearfully protected him all these frightful years? Once spotted, twice killed, right????
