Kerry is a pathetic piece of dung who couldn't tell a joke if his life depended on it

To be honest, our soldiers aren't fighting for our freedom. Its our presidents who are to greedy for oil that dragged us into the war. Before going to Iraq, we have never had any problems with terrorists, it is the fact that we invaded their land that caused so many deaths upon the Americans. Truth be told, if we have never invaded Iraq, none of this would have ever happened. Digression, but Kerry's "joke" was stupid and without thought. But think of it this way, how many people imitate and mock politicians, and do those who get mocked go out and publicly humiliate those mocking? Of course not, plus there is a freedom of speech that Kerry has the right to use as well. Politicians are not exempt from laws but they are also human and like all humans, they make mistakes.

Kerry can probably continue to win his Senate seat year after year for the rest of his life. But any hopes he had of ever being President died this week. Frankly, those hopes died in 2004. There has been only one case of a Senator failing his first bid for the Presidency and winning a subseqest one: Richard Nixon. Hardly a role model.

Most of our Presidents are either VPs who moved up or state Governors. You get the occasional General or Senator, but they are far and away the minority.

As far as the White House goes, Kerry is finished.

Hardly. The joke wasn't meant to insult the troops, dum-dum, as most (intelligent) Americans know. He meant to say "You wind up getting US stuck in Iraq. Just ask President Bush." It was a joke pointing out how poorly thought out Bush's policies are. Kerry may never become president, but he'll serve in the Senate as long as he wants to.

It was not a joke. Kerry doesn't know what a joke is. Our troops proved that they do with their banner the next day. Kerry is a disgrace to this country & to all those who insist on defending him.

Sure, how dare he....like that's the least of America's problems. Uh, last time I checked Kerry wasn't even a leader of the Nation. So your question is bogus.

He's likely finished as a respected spokesperson for the democrats. It's up to Mass. to decide whether his career is over and there is a lot of time between now and his next campaign.

Yes ; and so should his freedom . He should be forced to resign immediately . Then tried for treason for giving aid & comfort to the enemy in 2 wars & for using clout to silence former P.O.W.'S documentary, exposing him for being the most vicious , opportunistic, treasonous scum around . He must have thought he was still in Vietnam last Monday , and it was his moment in the spotlight to slander the troops , AGAIN .
