To "perfect American": Do you really believe that most terrorist actions were performed by Muslims? What about those nuts in Waco? What about the gov't. that blew them up without removing women and children? What about Israel? What about Ireland? What about our own CIA that creates conflict in other nations (so that we have an "excuse" to go in and "straighten them out") And the beat goes on.....

Bush did not label Islam as a terrorist ideology. He labeled radical muslim fundamentalists as terrorists. And they are. I just watched Obsession:Radical Islam. It was very disturbing how they teach their very small children (as young as 3 years old) to hate Jews and Christian. No true religion teaches this. Any so-called religion that encourages suicide, murder and hate is nothing but a terrorist orginization.

Yes We know all about how Islam has been spread by the sword for centuries. How other than exploiting captured people and attacking its neighbors Islam has never been known for any other contributions to the knowledge or well being of the world.
All of the "Islamic inventions" in medicine, the arts, mathematics were stolen from the Byzantines or the Hindus.
Non muslims under Islamic law are called dhimmi and are treated very unfairly. The muslims of today and of yesteryear are a backward people only capable of violence against that which they disagree with.
Yes the Judeo-Christian west has had times where we turned violent against ourselves or our neighbors. But we are evolving and trying to do better. The moslems appear to be stuck in the 12th Century.
When was the last time a westerner beheaded a moslem for insulting Jesus, Moses, or any secular tradition?????
By the way if the US really wanted all muslims dead, why haven't we launched any Trident nuclear missiles at the Islamic world?

Lets see. Muslim media (TV,Radio, state sponsored web sites) stations on a frequent basis call for the death of all non-muslims. Proclaim that Islam will rule the world. Say things like dieing for Allah will get them into heaven. The Muslim media is insultive to other religions yet has no tolerance when other people are insultive back. Leaders of Islamic nations have openly called for the anihlation of entire countries and open genocide of peoples they do not like.
In Sudan the Muslims have practiced slavery for thousands of years. A practice that continues today. Also in Sudan they have intentionally starved millions to death over the last 20 years as well as many other attrocities.
In both Iran and Iraq young Kurds (fellow Muslims) were sent unarmed into machine gun nests to run the machine guns out of ammo.
In Algeria tens of thousands have died for not being Muslim enough. The same happened in Iran when the Revolutionary governemnet took over and in Afghanistan when the Taliban took over.
The Taliban with full aproval of the Arab world destroyed ancient works of art. Why? Because it was not Islamic.
Islamic groups, not just a single sect, but dozens. The PLO, Hezbollah, El Quishi (Intentional misspelling) are just 3 of many that have blown up aircraft full of women and children, busses again full of women and children, shot up airports, blown up clubs, trains and hijacked both aircraft and ships. It's not exactly an isolated event. It is peoples from all over the Muslim world. Every Muslim nation contributing members.
Just to add insult to all this are public instances of Muslims celibrating things like 9-11, the Embassy bombings in Africa, the embassy take over in Iran.
One guy writes a book critical not of the religion but the current leadership of the religion and Iran puts a bounty on his head calling for his execution.
I'm sorry you have zero credibility because there is not a single word of protest from the Muslim comunity. There is no attempt to bring the terrorists in. Only the public approval and the less public approval. Where is the public outcry? Do you think if Bush put a bounty on the head of some guy for writing a book critical of the US that he would not be imediately removed from office? Would Europe stand by if he even said he was thinking about it? No! We would not act so childishly. Be so intolerant. There is the difference. Even the so called peacefull Muslims are participating in terrorism by thier silence.

Not at all. He knew absolutely nothing. He did not even know what Shi'a’s, Sunni, and Kurds where. If not labeled, it is doubtful that he could find Iraq on a map. And, I’m sure that he does not have a clue which language is spoken in Iran. How else do you explain his making the wrong decision and taking the wrong action at every single opportunity? Even a real monkey would have lucked in to one or two correct choices, but Bush has never been right.

Are you sure you didn't write down the definition of Christianity by accident? Islam and Christianity are like twin brothers who are always fighting, and always blaming the other for starting it.

I can't claim to know a whole lot about Islam. I have read some, and I also have read some of the Qu'ran translated (which, as I am given to understand, does not truly qualify as actually reading the Qu'ran due to the dilution of meaning through translation).
What I have read and seen suggests to me that Islam is a beautiful religion of peace, when practiced carefully and not manipulated by extreme fundamentalists. Some of the most peaceful, spiritual, dedicated, and faithful people I have ever met were muslims. One especially that comes to mind was a classmate of mine.
She was really nice, extremely dedicated to God, and terribly tolerant of our bumbling questions regarding her culture and way of life.

First off, Bush has never labeled Islam as a terrorist ideology.
Secondly, if I burn my hand on a stove, I don't need to read a book to know it's hot.
The "actions" you speak of in your question belong to the dirt bags who have committed acts of terror and murder against the United States since 1979.
Do you not think we should have responded?

I'll admit that terrorists got my attention, but I gave Islam a fair chance. I read your Koran, or at least enough of it to determine what it is.
How can a 'true' religion contradict itself? How can you claim to believe the 'Injeels', and yet not accept their message? God is not a liar. But there IS a liar out there. The Koran was inspired by Iblis, NOT Allah.

We are not at war with Muslims. We are at war with terrorists. Make sure you understand facts before you make claims. Just because the terrorists happen to be Muslims isn't the USA's fault
