Having been in power for so long, have Republicans forgotten it was THE PEOPLE who put them where they are? Is a wake-up call needed?

The wake up call could come as soon at this Wednesday

No. The wake-up call came when a whole lot of Americans were held hostage in Iran, years ago. And the Democrats in power did nothing.

We hit the snooze button again during the Clinton administration, when Saddam violated the conditions of the Armistice from the first Gulf War. And the Democrats did nothing.

If we hit the snooze button again, say goodbye to Yahoo! Answers, working electricity, and your kids' future.

Start reading the Koran. (Then shift quickly to the Manifesto--- the Ghosts of the Comintern not only wish to be resurrected, they're already here.)

Yes, but the people also need a wake-up call. The will of the people is not always right. Leaders lead and don't follow poll numbers. That is why a good one must be resolute.

Well considering that 2 years ago Bush not only got the electoral college but the popular vote as well I'd say that most people are not Liberal Bush bashers. I personally think this administration has done a good job, I am part of the working poor and under Bush's administration I was able to save and buy a home. Hopefully If the Liberals win I won't be taxed out of my home!

Yes, and it's all the DEMOCRAT'S FAULT! They held power for 50 long years, and abused that power for most of that time. Since they lost it, they have acted like a bunch of insane high school sophomores, who I wouldn't trust as local DOG CATCHERS. Unforunately, that means I am FORCED to vote Republican in order to see to it that the crazies don't get into power. I'd really much rather have the Libertarians or the American Independants in office. But that's not going to happen this year.

Did we put them in office? In 2000 the Supreme Court installed Bush as the President, even though a thorough recound concluded that Bush lost FL and lost the Electoral vote and the public vote count.

Fear of the Boogieman"bin Laden" got them elected in 2004. Notice you do not hear anyone talking about Bin Laden anymore, Bush gave him a free pass to freedom.

Now that I have finished my ranting here we go. The Republicans support the businesses and the rich. They have never represented us. Notice how the stock market keeps rising and business is doing well, but we can't seem to get a raise to save our lives. Republicans force us onto welfare then complain about the costs. If they would get businesses to pay a fair wage, we would be able to lower welfare rolls.

Republicans try to rally us around Abortion issues and pro-life issues, but we are not supposed to notice that they are doing almost nothing to get any good pro-life laws enacted. Anyone who thinks that Republicans are pro-life is out of their frickin mind.

No I think they've just completely forgotten the policies and actions that put them there in the first place after Reagan. They've lost touch with that form of conservatism and are just losing it altogether. For their own parties sake they need a break.

Yes but how does this not als apply to the democrats?

After all Liberals love to say things like, "We're just asking everyone to pay their fair share." But government is not about asking. It is about telling. The difference is fundamental. It is the difference between making love and being raped, between working for a living and being a slave.

They both suck and both mean to rule you.

vote libertarian
