They are religous and/or war-mongering blowhard lemmings who follow the second group; The second group is made up of the top one percent. They cut taxes for themselves, borrow trillions. Of necessity, they pay Rove to pipe tabloid for the Rats. Lemmings rather.

to defend yourself?...87% of gun owners have no training. how will you defend yourself if you dont know what you're doing?...you're more likely to shoot a friend or family member by accident.

to defend yourself against the gov?....try using a .38 against a tank...lemme know how that works for ya.

seriously. why do we need guns?...i know its in the constitution, but with all the nuts in our society, and the ease with which they get guns, the US is soaked in blood from gun related crimes....take away the guns, and what happens?

From my recent question asking for a prediction for the out comes of the sanction on NK, now I can finally answer it by myself.

As you heard just by now, NK is claiming to soon have a nuclear test.

While I believe this is a further development of the NK long time bluff to just maintain its falling state, if the world and Bush respond hard on them, this time, what will the possible outcomes be?

Being pushed to the corner, will the NK launch a war? If not, what else?

Instead of openly, honestly, morally dealing with the Foley scabdal there are some Republicans here, it seems, who would rather dig ip the 30 year old story of Gerry Studds as if to say, "See, Democrats are just as perverted as we are." Then the fake Kerry will post another fake 'question' claiming Clinton is a rapist.

So, what's the score in this BS game so far?

My friends, I can give you a long, long list of already proven guilty sickos who were Republicans. So, instead of trying to deflect the blame, why can't you Republicans here just admit your party was too compliant and deal with the Foley case like real men and take steps to ensure it doesn't happen again?

When President Bush took office in January 2001:

DOW was at 10.578.24
It had declined almost 10% from its high during the last year of the Clinton Presidency. As of today, the Dow Industrials stands 10.8% above when Bush took office. In spite of 9-11, Enron/Tyco/etc malfeasance...

NASDAQ was at 2757.91 when Bush took office, and had lost almost half of its value from the top of the Internet bubble, and was still in rapid retreat. By the end of March 2001, less than 6 weeks after Clinton left office, the bubble finally had lost most of its air and the Nasdaq stood at about 1820. Clearly nothing Bush did in less than 6 weeks caused that continued drop.

Today, we are at a level of 2246, almost 25% above the bubble burst bottom. (There was a later 9-11 bottom as well).

When the "you-know-what" hit the fan. They hid. We found one and the other one is hiding so well ( in an allied country that we cannot invade) we can't locate him.

WHY don't people realize these are COWARDS.

Why wasnt the issue of Gerry Studds ever brought up? he was a democratic congressman who had SEX with a 17 year old boy. he admitted it, but he never apologized for it. he said it was no one's business. he never resigned, but rather he ran again for the position, and was successful. so why is Foley getting so much crap from the dems about a few emails? the dems accuse the reps of not taking responsibility, but why didnt Studds resign the way Foley did at least? why was he reelected after everyone, even voters knew about it?

I have not kept up with the Foley situation for lack of time. I am wondering who decided to come forward about the emails Foley sent the young pages. The news story, whose link I'll attach to this question at the end, says that some of the emails are a year old, some older. Why is this development coming out now, a little over a month before midterm elections? No recognizable republican can take his place in the election with a clear hope to win. Is this a Democrat ploy to hake the voters' faith in the GOP?

If you're a conservative right now, I already know what you're going to say. 'This is America, if you don't like it then Git out.' Am I right? Well, save it, because I'm not going anywhere.
