I see only a tribal division that appears to be worsening, partially brought on by the " decider " and his neocon advisors. Are the divisions in American society and culture widening ?
There are huge ammounts of people with whom I won't discuss certain topics out of a 6th sense that tells me to be careful.

For starts Bush's nation-building experiment has created a human-rights Frankenstein and made many Iraqis long for the more gentle days under the regime of Saddam Hussein, the "dictator" Bush ousted so we could brings the joys of "freedom" there.
And while we are exporting " freedom" we are building a police state here at home.

Congress gives the president the authority to jail anyone he wants for as long as he wants without even bringing charges. We must challenge this mad and increasingly dangerous man. The Busheviks are using fear and propaganda to reshape our national values to serve their craven political purposes and addiction to power.

North American Man Boy Love Association.

Liberals fund and defend these people even though they publicy admit to pedophilia. Here is a link that I forgot to attach. How can filthy liberals call this a smoke screen and why do you defend them? Yet, you blame all Conseratives for a dirt bag like Foley. Granted, the guy is a disgrace but this is a double standard for liberals. After all, as the link states, YOU defend their rights...

does china care how others view it, india, japan, iran, france, germany, etc... shouldn't we be caring about our survival rather than our image? image is important, but if we are gone it doesn't matter... to me caring more about what others think of me than survival remind me of highschool, trying to be cool to impress people, but then you fail the test because you didn't study, but at least you were cool...

Why doesn't spell checker work on Yahoo? I alwys notice the grammar on here, and the spelling, maybe the people do use it, the mistakes are not caught by spell checker?
In putting this quetion in I misspelled , 3 words and again it said no misspelled words!

Does a hateful speech made by a Democrat or Republican sway your vote? If they yell and scream and call the other oponent all kind of names, Do you tend to believe them? Or do you try to find out if they are telling the truth? Do you Look at their policys? Do you vote a particular party because your parents or friends voted that way? Do you have blinders on when you vote? Please tell the truth, are you stuck in a rut and vote just because you have always voted that way? I could go on and on, but this seems to be enough on that subject!

Nobody denies that Foley is a perverted dirt bag. I dont understand how liberals talk out of both sides of their mouth. They fund and defend the rights of NAMBLA.
Doubt this? Read what the Associated Press has to say. How can an organiziation that publically admits to pedophilia be defended by liberals? Does this make sense?
Also, I realize that not ALL Democrats support this. Im not painting all Democrats as pedophiles so dont make that connection with Conservatives.

You far right nutcases would certainly have called him a coward, soft on terrorism, a tratior to his country, anti-war, a friend of the enemy. What will you call your own Senate Majority Leader for saying this?

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, who was traveling in Afghanistan, said Monday that Taliban fighters were too numerous and too popular to be defeated. "You need to bring them into a more transparent, leadership type of government," he said. "And if that's accomplished, we'll be successful."

(House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, the United States went to war in Afghanistan to defeat the Taliban for its role with al-Qaida.

"Senator Frist now suggests that the best way forward in Afghanistan is to coddle the Taliban by welcoming Taliban members into a coalition government, as if 9/11 had never happened," Pelosi said Tuesday in a statement.)
